Did ChenLong lost to AG twice in 2 weeks this year? At which tournament again? kinda vaguely remember it.

Nah, unfortunately, this is what my mind predict.
There is at least 0% chance that Goh/Tan will win. This useless pair cannot win anything when it counts.

I’m the biggest TakaMatsu fan but I’m just saying that LSH had an incredible year last year. Winning the All England with CYN then having great results with her (don’t remember exactly what other finals they made last year but I think Korea and Indonesia?), then also winning Denmark and reaching final/semifinal(?) in France with SSC, then reaching the final in China with KHR. She’s obviously underperforming at the moment. WD probably getting kinda boring for other people as no other nation really troubling JPN. They’re only troubling each other tbh. Regardless though I’m personally enjoying the battles among JPN WD pairs (and still rooting for TakaMatsu here!)

The last 3 rallies of AG-KM were simply breathtaking. Looked like a match of finals quality. Unfortunate that one needs to leave the tournament

Well at least they had won Olympic Silver medal. Not as useless as some others.

PV Sindhu has an easier match on paper Nitchaon Jindapol, but Sindhu has a habit of making easy opponents look formidable and difficult.
Saina Nehwal has a tough match against Ratchanok Intanon, Saina has to turn the clock back against a younger, fast, deceptive player.
Can Indian WS break their Asian Games jinx of 0 medals? :)

Last time Ratchanok won against Saina was 2016.... Saina is expected to win tomorrow

Saina won Ratchanok in the last 4 meetings. Even if she is not in form, she is capable of defeating Ratchanok. Saina's game is really troubling Ratchanok.

Tough to call the TTY v NO match... I reckon TTY is more hungry for the title as she said in a video at the start of the year that the AG is her goal. But I’m still low-key rooting for NO who seems to be in some good form and appears to be handling the drift and the pressure quite well so far.

I wonder if Goh/Tan can upset tomorrow. They seem to be good at these multi-sport events in general.

Also, with the recent developments in MS here at the Asian Games, LCW’s absence is really palpable. So many what-if scenarios. Really sad. I’m also struggling to find recent news on how he is now in his treatment and recovery.

if you're solely talking about 2017 i'd agree. lsh had a great year. taking the time period 11/2016-11/2017 she had 3 ss/p gold, 2 ss/p silver, 2 ss silver, 2 gpg gold. far better results than every japanese pair.

    No way.

Ginting went to see Dr Strange before the start of Asian Games. Dr Strange said "this is the only way". You must lose to Kento in team event, you must suffer cramp againt Shi Yuqi. Then, after that the doctor open his mind so Ginting can heal and play with full power and beat Kento

    ;)

NBA made 7.9Billion dollar in revenues. Why cant badminton do so?

If its me, i wouldnt pay that much to watch a team where losses and winnings as a team are less emphasized and players can do what they want since they will be shielded from the blame anyway.
