Hi there! Am a long user of Ultimax, before going down to BG66 as i like its softer feel yet just plays as nice. But once tensions drop, i find it quite hard to play afterwards, not much sound, not as nice, not as repulsive. So anyone out there have string recommendation for any durable, nice sounding yet repulsive enough?

What don't you like about it? I think it's better than Ultimax in all aspects.

True, the feeling is a little bit harder. I'd recommend Aerosonic, but the durability is very bad.

Any thoughts about the BG68TI or NBG98? Forgot to mention, thin strings i string at 26, while thicker i would raise to 28

Never tried BG68Ti. NBG98 has very good durability and could fit your requirements, but it's little thicker than UM, iirc.

Repulsive, yes. Softer, I don't think so. It's medium I would say.

IMO NBG98 is a damn soft string. I also second to try Zymax, but 62 MK2.

It's been a while since I used UM and 98... I recall UM to be softer than 98.

You can be right. For me 98 turned out like playing with a sponge so I cut it on day 1, while I got everytime 2-3 good days out of UM.
