Been using N9ii purple green for a month plus now, what I have to say is, this is one hell of a racket that shine every bit in term of speed and power. The more I use it the more I'm in love with it. tho felt a bit head heavier in first few hours of trying, have to adjust slight timing issue because been using AX77 and DZS all these while. I'm just wondering why am I so late to this party but glad I did. Very satisfy with it and even do a lot of dry swing at home when there is no badminton session which i rarely did.
The best aspect of N9ii for me is the head heaviness, now I start to understand head heavy yet fast which whoever mentioned before. Had a very high expectation from it before this and thanks god it live up to it's fame.
"Head heavy yet fast" this my best aspect too!!! I can't stand dull swinging and movement. 3u 88D move too slow, even though it does smash harder and steeper. But I believe, if get the timing right for n9ii it can do the same. So far, n9ii is much forgiving than DZS. Sometime i swap to DZS, the shuttle speed from DZS will be faster. Hope I can master the smash of n9ii.
Never try a 3u 88D before, but I owned 3u 88S which I prefer N9ii over it anytime now, just can't stop using it to satisfy my 'needs' . It's just suits me better. Good luck to you for taming your N9ii and happy smashing! Cheers.
I am currently using both n7ii and n9ii, but prefers the n9ii because I find it less stiff compared to the n7ii. Planning to get it but the old series are all out of stock, only the new turbo charging series are available ( 75,75c etc ) the 75 is similar to the n9ii ( black/pink) right ?
For the gazillionst time - changing the grip setup doesn't change the actual weight of the head and hence how "heavy" the racket feels during a swing. It changes the balance point, but the racket stays as head heavy or head light as before. 295 mm balance is normally considered as even to slightly head heavy balanced. The head weight of the N9II is no way near really head heavy rackets. It plays in the same ballpark as let's say an Arc11.
I had a clash with a total beginner, with no idea of formation rotation, and gave my n9ii a little crack. I thought everything seems fine except that small crack. Fast forward a long while later, I was doing my usual power jump smash when a chance was presented, not knowing what happened after I win the point . RIP my n9ii Ahmad orange !
Hi guys! I got my N9ii Ahmad for 2 months now and I really like it (credits to Konquerian!!!). Other rackets that I currently have are: Z-Slash (3U), JetSpeed S10 3U (HK), Z-Strike (3U). I can play well with all of them but I found one is better than another in a particular area, depending on whether I mainly play front or back for that game (since I switch partners around). I play double 90% of the time, comfortable with playing both front and back, a playmaker player who still need to spend more time improving backhand clear/ smash. I am interested in getting the N7ii to add into my racket "collection". Can someone compare the N7ii to any of the rackets that I just mentioned above (N9ii, JetSpeed S10 (3U), Z-Slash, Z-Strike) and also the Astrox 88S. Many thanks!
Short version, N7ii lighter head weight and slightly stiffer shaft compared to the N9ii. It still flexes, but on impact rather than on the swing vs N9ii.
Compare to the N9ii, does the N7ii has a faster swing? and does the N7ii lose a lot of power compare to the N9ii (for having a lighter head)? Many thanks!
