Softer than the N9 is not possible. I demoed it a while a go and found it very easy to use, but was afraid to send head and shaft with the shuttle together to the opponent. Never the less IMO a great and supportive racket, even for Beginners and a better choice than any Yonex or Victor.
Since I got my N70, it became my preferred racket next to my N50. I've used Yonex and Victor rackets but I'm really enjoying playing with these two ancient ones. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
Hi, if anyone would like to try a 900C, I am currently looking to trade or sell one: https://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/index.php?threads/lining-3d-calibar-900c.178011/ I live in Germany, but can ship worldwide if required.
Is it really? I thought the 900C was a whole new racket. Darn it, how I still hate that whole name change stunt. What a gigantic and unnecessary mindf*ck.
The 900C is a new racket. I have had the N80ii before and the two are not very much alike. However it may be similar to the N90iii, but I heard some people say they would still play differently.
I'm not sure at all. Someone mentioned something of the sort in the review thread...they should just make a slightly revamped of the N90, box frame, heavy, stiff - that thing would sell like hot cakes. All this aero frame stuff is nice and all, but why does every racket have to have one now... :/
Too light for everyday use, if my shoulder's fine I like it, but I play better with sth slightly meatier. And maybe softer. I'll try to tape it up a bit though, see what happens
When the name change first happened I thought the 900C was N90iii due to the similar positions on the matrix, but LN doesn't say it's equivalent to any old racquet so I'm assuming it's a new racquet.
I bet this happens with a lot of people. You try like 100 racquets then realize the best one was one of the first ones you've used I mean, I had a similar thing happen recently too. Stocked up on zf2 since they're slowly going out of production and so far nothing can replace them. Dropshots using AX stuff are the only exception.
I couldn't find the bloody things they got discontinued and seemingly destroyed in their entirety. I'll need to find a replacement going forward. Might have to check out something like the Aeronaut 7000C.
They may bring out an Aeronaut 7000I, I think it likely fits the instinct category. If only Li Xue Rui were using the 50-III instead of the 50-II...
Completely different rackets. One is heavy, the other one (N50iii) a fly swatter. The N90iii is actually closer to the N50ii than the N50iii is.
Not used the N50 II, but their chart lists it as both more headlight and less stiff than the N50-III. Don't go hating the III if it can feel that light and still hit hard, it's a solid racket
I have 2 and used both the N50 and N50ii for years (and the N70 and N90). I tested the N50iii and it's the lightest of the three by far. That matrix is sometimes just utterly wrong. The N50ii is actually not that much lighter than the N90, although a lot softer. Heavier than the N70 iirc, definitely noticeably heavier than the N50. On par with the N80ii, but more sluggish in defense and drive play, probably due to the soft shaft.
