At this point its clear there's something wrong with li/liu. maybe li still hasn't recovered from injury, then lack of motivation after winning the wc...they probably not gonna even play in world tour finals.

    u can watch the match?

LiLiu is shattered. Losing 12-21 is just so bad in MD.

Would HKV post another Tweet for this?

This is terrible. Li should take a break and recover before competing again. He can't even hit properly.

You should ask that question to BWF. Why fine players who don't participate?

Maybe this is Li/Liu's respond to that complaint about the "match fixing". That they are playing like this regardless where the opponents are from.

If LiLiu the closest contender play like this, minions will be WR1 for another year and that at the very least mean big bucks. not to count the titles that they won as WR1 which is not easy usually.

and its true that MD is competitive and it can be said easy to lose in R1 but this is just tanking.

tanking for what exactly? You won't get number 1 draft in badminton after your bad results.

they will axe and relegated from national team instead

Thats why i dont know.. they will get relegated but playing like today, thats clearly tanking. how can one play without fighting spirit? As of now they are still China No 1, they surely know that.

Hmmm, Li/Liu is so disappointing, losing in R1. Have they lost their motivation after winning WC?

I watched down at court level.

Cben's court movement is very much superior. I am surprised she lost.

I hope she can do it as Susy Susanti mentioned that Gregoria has good prospect to be one of top-10 even top-5.
