The hall for this World Tour Finals seems really slow, even slower than in nanjing I think ? there's one moment when kevin intercept at the front court with crazy speed but the danes still got it back. I understand his frustation
Minions vs Li/Liu used to be the match i'm looking forward to but i think Li/Liu is down too much. That JapanOpen Final really changed my impression about them despite them WR2 for most of the time. Its the most lopsided 1 vs 2 ever.Sad. Even more so than XD (which was already obvious from beginning). Everytime LiLiu play minions, i know how they feel if only we are not from the same generations. Some of their best meet between these 2 is MalaysiaOpen & Dubai last year. IndonesiaMasters is tight too but my favourite will always be MalaysiaOpen. With Gideon looking tired, LiLiu maybe can do better this time.
unlike the bee costumes, those new jerseys is not special designed for minions(?) so, can we expect new ones for minions next year?

Well looks like Li/Liu are getting back in form. Unfortunate for minions to lose today, hope they (especially Marcus) would do better and win tomorrow.
Watching their match against li/liu, I think they need to improve their flat defense. in terms of attack, they gonna struggle in the slow hall as long as gideon can't variate more of his attack. just too predictable.
Well I think Kevin is doing fine. It's Marcus that sometimes find it hard to play well in slow halls. Maybe it's just his bad day
Yeah true. it's worrying that gideon almost always struggling everytime they play in slow hall/with slow shuttle. french open, fuzhou open, even hongkong open (except for that final match against kamura/sonoda), kevin carried him most of the time. it just frustating to see that kevin couldn't even get a proper chance at the front court against li/liu.
Their overall defense need to be improved. if they want to playing it long again then do it left and right, from what I've seen in the match against li liu they keep playing their defense only to 1 side, even the coach tell them to variate their defense more.

I dont know if some fans are even bots. Like what they wrote make no sense.. Even if they play seriously, there is high chance they will lose to AstrupRasmussen. Its not as if Minions will beat HanZhou to begin with. They should have capitalized on GamePoint, just like their defeat in FrenchOpen Final. The GamePoint is big difference and its true, cant win all the GP so thats too bad.
Gideon said there's some problem with his neck. I also notice it in the match against the danes yesterday, at the interval after game 2 he said something about his neck. at the interval against li/liu we could also see an ice packs on his neck. it's not as bad as in dubai last year according to aryono miranat though.
