Hi All, I have been playing with arcsaber 11 for 3 years now. I play doubles only and have intermediate skills. I am looking for all round play and used to even balanced racket. use Nanogy 99 or Aero bite control series strings. I have been breaking Arcsaber 11 a-lot by accidental hit by partners. I have decided that it is time to move to a cheaper option so that it does not hurt breaking rackets every now and then moreover Arcsaber11 has been tough to find these days in my area. can you please suggest which option should I choose. duora 77 LCW , arcsbaer 7 are some of the mid range rackets which I could find . what are the options ( open for rackets from other brands too ) ? Thanks for the help regards, Vikas
The first racket I ever chose was the Duora 77, it was a great racket for doubles with lots of elastic power. Defence was effortless and smashs were fast I would highly recommend Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
Arc7 isn't midrange, and is both headlighter and more flexible than arc11. It should be available cheap though as it is quite an old model by now. I think for the budget conscious a duo88 would profile closer to arc11
Second this. Duo88 is very slightly more head heavy(on scale) and a tiny bit more flexible (IIRC by bending), but very close, when swinging around.
Apacs Tantrum 200/300 II。 You should be able to get that in India. Half the price with Arc11 spec, stiff, even balance, and most importantly, tough and withstand clashes, Apacs is #1 Yonex killer in my club now.
what would you consider arcsaber7 as ?duo88 is leaning towards the price of arcsaber11. how is duora77lcw? thanks for the response
I found a shop in India where Arc11 is above 11.000 Rs, while Duo88 is 4800 Rs. Leaning towards the price of on Arc11 is something different than beeing below 50%. I got a long time ago my hands on a Duo77 and it felt quite headlight to me IIRC.
not sure what the question is, but arc7 would resemble closest duo7 which is an even balanced medium stiff racquet. both are still very good racquets.
oops! looks like I got confused between the price of duora 8 and duora88. you are right duora 88 is indeed 50% the price of arcsaber 11. will try duora 88. regards vikas
