Whether Li/Liu lifts crosscourt or not dont matter. you can see Gideon cant smash or that they are playing away and everytime Li/Liu smash, there is crowd behind them that adds more zip to the smash. Its just like Minions match vs KamuraSonoda in HK Final, it just feels like home match and Sonoda smash is nonexistent. But i think Li/Liu won that day because of home support and not because of Gideon injury, as hassled as his move might seem. They could have even forced rubber.
Next year will be really tough, but its OK minions. Gotta break the records they can break, imo. I just want them to win AE. AE hattrick and they will be legend. I also think Gideon keeps having this neck problem because of cholesterol. Usually when your neck feels that way, it is due to cholesterol.

Unless they pull a Kido, i think they'll make it. Top 8 is 101% possible for them
Yes, technically they should have no problem to qualify. I am just worried that they can't qualify because of injuries or health issues.
yes, personally I don't want them to force anything next year. they should be more selective with tournaments instead. choose only 750/1000, maybe SS500 Indonesia , WC and that's all. Getting fines from BWF is okay as long they can stay injury free. They almost got everything this past two years, nothing left to prove. Just focus to what matters which is 2020. One year is very short time, play it safe.

Yeah, a few thousands dollars shouldn't be much a trouble. And they will have to play in Sudirman Cup too. There is another thing that has got me worried lately. Is it just me or have Marcus been having too many bad dives for the past few months? I have watched the replay of the match vs Li/Liu. And I could confirm that Marcus injury got much worse after a failed dive at 13-16 of G2. He was obviously in pain when he lunged forward to save the drop shot and fell quite hard on his shoulder or back. I am afraid that could do him no good with his not so injury free physical. He is not that flexible and I seriously think that he should probably train how to dive and land more properly and safely too if he really want to. Or maybe he should be more selective on when to do the save dive or when to just leave the shuttle be. Or I don't know.. just many of the dives were not really worth saving, in my opinion.
They're already registered in Malaysia S500 right ? knowing them I think they're just too obsessive in winning, as long as they feel they're health they like to play every tournament (S500++).
