Several coming from behind and take the matches are really interesting to make this initial tournament competitive from the early round although it's just Super 300 tournament.

In the aging of Lin Dan also Chen Long who will turn 30 years old very soon, Lu Guangzu is expected to be China A team member alongside with Shi Yuqi following their effort to build new young squad. Lu clears opening hurdle, def. Indonesian back up Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, 21-17 / 21-8. Chico was too rush to attack in second game, wrong tactic against the resilient yet energizer Lu.

^-^ Olympic will be more interesting if Indonesia/Japan/China have 1 more quota for each of them. China needs a slot for MS, Japan needs a slot for WD and Indo needs one more for MD

Do you mean that these countries can possibly have 3 reps in one category?

There a possibility where one nation could bagged one set of medals as happened before in Barcelona 1992 (MS) and Sydney 2000 (WD).

Loh Kean Yew from Singapore advance to R2 after beating CHN youngster. In this tournament, he already beat three CHN youngsters. Remarkable! Looks like Mulyo's magic starts to work in Singapore.

Disappointing result for the top 3 THA MS. They are all eliminated in the first round, making them the only seeded players who lost in R1.

Looks like Lin Dan is safe to the SF stage.
QF should be a straight game victory for LD.

Loh Kean Yew on the other hand is doing amazingly well, considering his opponents.

Pretty bad from LZJ, from 9-7 to 19-7. He could have do much better than that.

Neighbor boy LKY upset Zhao Junpeng in straight game, among other victims are Sun Feixiang, Liu Haichao, and Zhou Zeqi.
    Pretty good unexpected run.
