It's official now. Zhang Jun is the new president of CBA. But, I don't know if he retains his position as double head coach or not.

Just noticed that the Chinese Junior national team participated in Sweden and Poland in January.
They were also entered for the Italian, Dutch and German junior championship.
And Li Shifeng just participated in .a tournament in Iran. Lost to Kunlavut in the final.
Clearly a change in stance by the Chinese BA. Hopefully more exposure for young players.

CBA is really proactive now to invest for future years as China is quite struggling now to get best result, far from expectation in BWF World Tour. How long that they need to be a world beater? We should see in next two or three years.

Well done CBA. At last they have woken up. Different players won the junior tournaments in Sweden and Poland. Looking forward to see them play in all the remaining tournaments in February.

He’s not in the China masters entry list today either. Looks like he’s not making a comeback anytime soon

Lu Guangzu has direct access to the big tournaments now. So no need to participate in small ones.
SFX no idea why but he’s in the entry list for Barcelona Masters this month.
No Ren Pengbo or Bai Yupeng.
Is this also the end of Qiao Bin?

Its really good that the CBA are sending a team of juniors out to get international experience. There are quite a few new ones. Interesting that there were different winners in the tournaments in Sweden and Poland.

I noticed Qiu Zihan was coaching the doubles players at the junior competitions in Europe. In case anyone is wondering what happened to him.

We keep guessing whether Lin GP would make comeback in BWF tournaments.
In CHN Masters Super 100 M/Q Report, found former CHN MS player Ye Binghong who's representing USA now.

Incidentally, all of them are former World Junior Champion, 2016, 2009 and 2008 respectively. Many factors that contributing a player successful, character/mindset is absolutely one of pivotal points.

Somewhat disappointed but still looking forward to Lin Guipu returning to active competition soon.

Anyway, from what I've gathered, the final stage of CBA's winter training has resumed on the 4th day of CNY, i.e. 8th Feb,Friday, after several days break for Lunar New Year celebrations, and will end in about a week's time, presumably on 15th Feb.

We still speculating whether Lin GP would back to CHN National team. On the other side, the underperformed Huang Yuxiang name appears again in All England and SUI Open Super 300, I thought CBA dropped him to the club.
