Hi everyone! We are group of undergraduates currently studying in NTU pursuing a degree in Sports Science and Management. Currently, we are doing research on the ease of finding your ideal coach in Singapore from a learner's/parent’s perspective.

Do let us understand your problems better through this survey, we would really appreciate it if you could take 1 minute to do this short survey!

You missed the most important factor - location.

Are you referring to this question? "What details do you look for when choosing your/your child’s coach? (E.g. Past achievements, fees, coaching experience etc.) "?

All those examples are personal details of the coach him/herself. Therefore, the most natural thing that comes to mind under “etc” would be the coach’s personal characteristics.

It’s not intuitive in your questionnaire to include non personal factors such as ease of transport, timing of lessons, booking availability, group or one to one, regularity of lessons. Designing a good survey question is sometimes quite tricky.

You can probably get from one end of SG to the other within a half hour drive, so location is probably not important for SG...

Thanks for the feedback! Yeap we are hoping to find out from each person what details (such as the ones you mentioned) he/she is looking for :)

So what will be of greater concern to you instead of location?

    Assuming:

    a) you can afford a car and also that important piece of paper that allows you to have a car
    b) if you have enough cash to keep spending on taxis
    c) you can find a taxi
    d) it’s not rush hour
    e) it’s not raining
