What condition? Arm injury? Why do you think he is in this condition in the first place? He had to do double duties carrying both his "heavy" partners for years now. And the coaches still burden him with them. Even with partners like ZYL and FHF back then he strained himself supporting both partners. But when ZN was injured, at least FHF could step up and carry ZN. And anyway he doesn't need players like LYD or FHF to win, he needs players unlike LC.
It's a shame they didn't consider huang kaixiang as a partner to Zhang nan. Somehow i think they would do well. Guess it's too late now considering the the olympics race is around the corner.
Maybe instead of complaining why CHN coach doesn't give him a new partner, zhang nan himself should ask his coach to give him a new partner because liu cheng just isn't good enough for him. I remember LYD back in 2013 was kinda crying to his coach to give him a new partner because they kept losing to hendra/ahsan.
Maybe he already did. I think ZN had brought up this issue to his coaches sometime last year and posted it online about it, but seemed like the coaches could offer no solution. If the coaches can't really see that LC just isn't good enough for ZN after all this time, they have big problems. I mean almost everyone else sees it, even Gill, Steen and Morten had expressed their thought about LC in their commentaries from time to time. I guess they don't watch BWF.
ZN is a type of player who adjust himself to the partner not the other way around. In CBSL he did quite well with any partner and win most of their matches. From the younger MD players, I think HJT might be the better option for the moment. Han/Zhou seems to be making more progress than He/Tan at the moment.
Maybe. With HCK, they will definitely qualify for Tokyo 2020. I believe Han/Zhang will surpass He/Tan in the ranking. With HJT, they can participate in the high tier tournaments straight away too with their notion rankings so if they can accumulated points more than Han/Zhou within this year, they can qualify. I am happy enough as long as ZN can get someone new. Screw the Olympics qualification.
I am afraid I don't know much about the younger players. How old and how experienced is he? It's worth a try if it's for a new partnership. But if it's for Olympics campaign then it needs to be someone with more experience. LC might as well be better than any inexperienced younger players.
That's what Zhang Jun thought too, presumably,as CBA in the past ,and still is, I believe, has the habit of favouring experience over youthful exuberance.
Two time asian junior champion(2017,2018),world junior champion(2018),world junior runers up(2017),lingui chinaasters runners up(2017). I can't remember exactly but they reach the quater final or pre quater final malaysain masters or indonesian masters in this year earlier
