Well well Ginting.. not your day today.

Great comeback from Momota in the last 2 games.
    He's tough.

    Ginting better learn from him

G3 is decided more by stamina than skills, esp in the latter half

Damn, Ginting lost! Should have won the match, but he kept making errors. From the play, he is better than KM, but he lacks consistency. That's make the difference. I will wait if someone raises the stamina issue.

the tell-tale sign a singles player is tired: they play a backhand shot on a shuttle they would normally step around to take a forehand.

ginting had a colossal energy dump @ 12-8.

Momota looks beatable without playing the Full rounds last week.

Even SaiPraneeth should have put him away. Shame it has to be decided this way. leading for 80-85% of the match.

Hope they meet in OG tokyo.

True, Axelsen used too much energy to get to 16-6 in G2 and his gas tank was running low

He has so little stamina, you're asking yourself if he isn't Chinese. :D

It's not stamina, it's more on Ginting error prone habit. Momota didn't really have to do anything much before the later half of G3.

AG lost his first final. On the surface it looks expected but oh well, he is WR1 for a reason..

So Christie beaten him and AG almost beaten him. I think its sign of good progress especially against WR1.

Yes, in the end, it's KM that stayed consistent. If other top MS players have KM's consistency, KM won't be dominating the MS.

Stamina is a big part of making errors, his smashes were way off or onto the net.

I don't think it was stamina issue when he lost G2.

...which means he is not better. there's more to winning than being the better shot maker.

asg is where tty was in her early years: the best shot maker who lacked consistency, strength and conditioning. obviously she improved in those aspects. can asg...?
