But there are a few more experienced players in their team that are not as inexperienced as the juniors. LC hasn't youthful exuberance last year at all and he's only 3 years younger. The coaches had the whole year to do the "right" thing. ZN was still so marvelous last year. Now I am afraid it's as hopeless as ever. Looking at ZN's arm and how he played with it in the last two tournaments, he can't carry LC anymore. Need another younger and exuberance player before ZN ruined his arm permanently. He might be. He's not really a fresh junior.
Liu/Zhang will face Ino/Kan and Zhang/Li will face Faizal/Widjaja in BAC according to the draw. Not expecting much. But hope at least they can defend their points here.
Both combinations are OK against a slower pair, but against a fast one they just get overwhelmed. Will have to see if LC's defense can hold up as the Japanese pair are pretty short.
Eh, wait until the SC is over. I don't believe that CHN team is weakened without LD and ZN are around.
To be frank, I'm not entirely surprised. I guess the CHN coaches wants to have a renewal process and not have to continue depending on the great old stalwarts for too long. Besides, in Zhang Nan's case, he is lacking the best MD partner to be fairly sure of delivering results when it matters in team championships. As for Lin Dan, not only is he old enough to deserve a break from doing his national service which he's been serving faithfully to the best of his ability for the longest time, he himself has hinted before that it's high time for his younger teammates to assume the mantle as appropriate. I believe CBA won't want to be in a situation where any of their player is indispensable, not a healthy state for the growth and development of the sport in China.
Let me guess, JPN? lol Well with LD, ZN and WYL it could have been mine. But now minions for the win!!
You read my mind correctly. But, nationality comes up first. Having said that, I will be neutral should INA vs JPN match happens.
Hey, I am an Indonesian, okay. My location is very clear. I am not joking when I said nationality comes up first.
