Racquetforce can ship to EU and I think they have this shirt. I have ordered fancy Victor-shirts from them to EU Before with no problem.

Dear Victor Canada, maybe you should ask yourself why people order stuff from the other side of the planet instead of buying locally....

At this rate, it's like a bunch of losers in a bar fight over who gets what while the bar owner (Taiwan) just churns out the quantity and throws it at everyone bickering in the bar.

Yeahhh nice business mantra. Solid business management.

As long as people consume my liquor I give no shits to what's happening on the floor. Two eyes closed.

I don't live in Canada, but Victor Europe is trying desperately to ban shipments from Asia to Germany too. The whole company structure is suboptimal from a sales point of view and far from being customer friendly.

I ordered from there before for a Victor bag. Was $30 shipping. Considering the rather large markup on Victor products in Canada it was still significantly cheaper to order overseas. And then they also had a much larger selection of products as well.

The price difference pretty much disappears when you add the extra import tax (is it 20% in Canada?) that "should" have been due. If you got lucky and the package slipped through, then this didn't represent the actual correct price.

What still stands is the bigger product variety available in Asia. It's the same with Victor Europe - they also bring only a fraction (and sometimes a questionable selection) from the actual Victor Taiwan catalogue over here.

True enough. Though I've never gotten the import tax. But it wouldn't even surprise me if the 20% only evened out the price at best.

At least with Canada we do basically get all of the racquets eventually. Just several months delayed. What we don't get is color variety on shoes, clothes, and bags. Even for some sponsored players it was cheaper to get it from Asia. Just slightly longer wait times on shipping.

It's not only Victor with their 3U phobia. Yonex is with their G4 or 4U on most of their rackets also not up to date here (the reason why Yonex is often not interesting for me) and the jerseys...boring. Li-Ning is with jerseys and rackets better, but shoes...also a fraction. Victor International is a total different story, they always try to sneak in their own doubtful stuff. I never came across that somebody said "OMG, the new Wave Power 0815 Magan XT!!!".
