    Chance for Sameer to get more ranking points, higher world ranking, better choice of tournaments for Olympic qualification.

    Sameer's ranking is lower than KS and against a relatively junior player, it's a good opportunity to pick up some easy ranking points.

    PVS slaughtered GJW real hard today. GJW had absolutely no chance. This is a good example of how WS elite players are still much more superior than many rising stars.

    Apparently Thailand is hoping that a scratch pair will put up a better fight against Ivanov/Sozonov. Just like how one of them beat Kevin/Marcus before.
    They also learn to not underestimate a weaker team by sending all their best players.

    But it's too risky in crucial tie, India already won if they fielded Srikanth.
    Similar case with Japan who's overconfident against Russia, luckily Japan has balanced squad.
