The good thing is CYF is able to make AY work harder for her points running all over the place throwing a lot back, that evens the stamina part a fair bit; otherwise, CYF herself would be pumped out, drained first, and then it's game over for her.

The whole match and the significance of the occasion turns into a war of attrition where the psychological aspect of the game counts more than the technical, the tactics and strategy employed.

Why not you do a research on how many tournaments are won by the home team and how many players attribute their success to homeground advantage ad to what extent ?

For the CHN players generally, based on what I've gathered reading their personal opinions, the majority felt more pressured by it than uplifted.

Your are right about the 'politics' in Indian Badminton. I will just say there is infighting with Gopichand who is also a selector and the other selectors.

India as a team were good enough to make the quarterfinals of the Sudirman Cup, if they played their best team and went all out.

I would need to speculate or get into Gopichand's head to know why he stayed away. :)

Hawk-Eye only looks at where the shuttle lands, it doesn't care how it gets there.

Luckily there is zhuafan.live and BWF youtube later turns to it for the source (that's why we can hear Chinese commentaries in the background).

Then I'll question you, has the Chinese team ever lost in the team event (TC/UC/SC) when they hosted it ?? This is a real question, not rhetorical one.

Nevertheless, the other teams can take their turn to host the team events if being host is deemed as so crucial to win it... SC 2021 is still in China (Suzhou), someone already posted the team event hosts: TC/UC/SC till 2025/6 at some pages back. NOC like Japan in particular certainly can afford to host the many team events. They have been great and frequent host of the women's volleyball world class events, and perhaps table tennis too, among others. Just throw in the money... int'l federation loves money! :p:D

You contradicted yourself, I can understand your anxiety and pain.:p:D:)

I'm sure there's a good reason why the JPN coaches chose Akane over Nozomi. Still how can anyone be sure of the outcome. Would we be so excited to watch the event if we are so sure of the outcome ?

My Chinese friend said its about corruption. Like you said federation loves money. He said not sure why CHN keep hosting this if its not because of corruption.

Why wasn't Wang YL not included in the medal ceremony? He was there but wearing casual clothes.

Nothing beats watching it live, and , second best to watch the replay to relive the moments. Watching the replay alone after you've known the result is third best, better than nothing, I guess.:)

Corruption? During the times of first Premier Zhu Rongji, and now President Xi Jinping ? Do they have a death wish ?

Poor me! I often watch Nishimoto's matches to find out his game and his weakness. And it's quite hard because the matches of Nishimoto are just a few. (often play on court 3 or 4)

Nishimoto lose 3 final matches, never get win single title. ^-^ and you know what, I already watched it over 5 times for every final match.

So "which best" will you give to me.
