Well no matter how long you play a rally, if you can only score 5 and the opponent score 21. What does that tell you?

Keine problemo! Simply add in some genuine (cane or brown) sugar to consume them! Turn the sour taste into sweetness! Being serious, I do celebrate the victory by the Chinese team as I root for them! Yet still remain paying respects to their opponents. No need to humiliate, no need to bad mouth, to agitate… this is just a sport, to win or to lose is just part of the game! It ain't a war!
Remember how Chen/Jia crushed all Japan WD in AE and BAC, and how KOR pair humbles four of them in recent tournament? In no way, JPN is the favourite in WD. Chen/Jia is far too dominant.
FukuHiro vs ChenJia would've been a close game. The AE game wasn't one sided at all for these two pairs. But we'll have to wait for the next tournament to find out.
I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about Momota. I trust him as a very smart badminton player for MS. I am more concerned about the men's double and women's double. Playing doubles is different from playing singles. When you have the chance to initiate attacks, you should attack. You cannot be lazy to attack and decide to lift so that the other side can take the initiative to attack while you just hope to tire your opponents by playing good or tricky defense. So many times, when they receive a high lifts to the back line, instead of initiating an attack, the Japanese just send back a high lift to the opponent. And the times when they try to initiate an attack, they hope for a cheap tricky kill. If that tricky kill success it looks impressive but if it falls, the Japanese have no idea how to continue in attack mode. The only Japanese pair that I have hope in for now is Matsumoto and Nagahara pair.
True. It's the score and game play that matter the most. If your game is beaten thoroughly, the duration and scoreline don't matter. It is still a crushing defeat.
Quite clearly Momota is not able to cope with SQY verity of strokes and retrieval shots. Most of all his smashes along the line which the Indonesian also have noticed. He is more comfortable with shots directed at him. Every player has his best form and yesterday China team prepared well. They came knowing what to do. It is a fantastic game and for the good of badminton, we need all these players.
Facts and Statistics in 2019 Sudirman Cup. There are 86 matches played in Group 1, 20 of them are rubber games. All of DEN vs ENG matches ended up in rubber games. None of the matches involving INA ended up in rubber games. Kim/Astrup (DEN) vs Chris/Langridge (ENG) match is the longest match with 98 minutes. GMT (INA) vs Abigail Holden (ENG) match is the shortest match with 23 minutes. China wins its 11th Sudirman Cup. China only lost one match throughout this Sudirman Cup. Except Chen Long, the other CHN players get their first Sudirman Cup. Li/Liu and CYF won four matches each, the most among any players in Group 1. China never lost any matches when Sudirman Cup is held in China. KM lost for the first time in team events.
Dia sangat kecewa," sambungnya. I believe those were the post match interview. anyone mind translating it?
You can check it here from BWF source. “Yamaguchi was leading 11-6 in the third game but she could not continue her good rhythm. That was a very big mistake,” he noted. “Momota played very well in the first game but in the second game he slowed down a lot. He played in the group stage, quarterfinals, semifinals and he finished late yesterday. Maybe his recovery was not enough. He tried to speed up but he couldn’t. He is also very disappointed.” I am not translating yours, but your post is quite similar with the one in BWF.
Nope, Chen/Jia did not "crush" all of Japan's WD in AE and BAC. They didn't encounter TakaMatsu and TanaYone. You might want to correct that part of your statement.
add one more: the only veteran Chinese player lost his match or conversly: All rookie Chinese players won their matches
Well, Chen Long is the only veteran in the team. I initially thought of describing him in that point, but decided not to.
Statement factually wrong, but the idea is there. Chen/Jia would probably beat all of Japan’s WD right now. Fuko/Hiro probably stand the best chance of reversing that as it stands now.
I don’t think enough credit is given to Shi Yuqi for his performance yesterday. He came in a little slow in G1 and people perceived Momota as having the clear upper hand when both are reasonably fresh. I don’t think it is so clear cut. Shi Yuqi is well and capable of taking it to Momota even when the latter is fresh, demonstrated by WTF2018 and the first two games of BAC2019. He paced himself better and didn’t go all in blitzkrieg from the get go yesterday, credit should be given for that.
