Yeah I was really surprised by the weight. I got the g4 version with some cushion wrap and one overgrip since I have fairly large hands. I use the same grip style on the N9 and the weight is normal.
To me N9-2 lacks a little sharpness at the front court, it offers good control a the net but has a slight delay when playing kills, and I detect a catapult effect which can be tricky when you want to maneuver your opponents with drives I enjoy N7-2 much more when playing front court, top notch control and better reactivity than N9-2, but I have to admit that it it less powerful at the back…
Ok thanks guys, will be getting the n9 ii then as most concur it has more power from the back, I should be able to counter react the front with the racket... I hope
Well, I like my N9ii, it’s a powerful racket, it’s on the heavier side though, shame because I bought it before I found out I was more of a front court player in doubles, but despite it being a racket for the back, it is definitely no slouch at the front, albeit lacking some sharpness, but it’s quite nimble near the front. I find this racket to suit well with the Li-Ning no.1 string at 27x29 lbs
Still really happy with my N9-II but I think I could cope with a little more stiffness… which racquet should I try? I own N7-ii and like it but the head weight distribution is diffferent hence different feeling Played with BS12 before, same stiffness than N9-II but less head heavy so plays slightly stiffer but really tricky to do winning smashes 3D calibar 900B / N90IV seems perfect but haven’t seen any comparison with N9-II… Any help?
For me N7ii feels much closer to N9ii than the heavier 75C. N7ii/TC70 is a slightly stiffer N9ii. They are very similar in all other aspects. Add 0.5 grams of power tape to a N7ii head and you will have a stiffer N9ii
I bought the FHF edition, it feels amazing to use but it's such a beautiful racquet that I'm terrified I'll damage it every time I play with it. Is the FHF edition the same as the regular N9II/TC 75? If so I might consider getting a regular one. I read through this thread and someone mentioned that they thought the FHF edition was stiffer?
Exact same racket as the regular versions of the N9II/TC75. Don't fall for the usual "but it's stiffer because there is a player's name on it!" nonsense.
And I think it is time. On contrary I don't feel any ridge of sorts while i swipe over it by my nail. Still, should I be stringing it again?? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
Weird ass paint chip. Maybe it's the picture composition. Looks as though the edge of got completely eaten somehow.. Otherwise if there truly isn't a hole there.. There's no crack signs yet so just try and string it again. If it's cracked internally there's nothing you can do at this point but find out lol. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
