After being white washed in first game, 7-21 Fitriani did much better in second game to push hard effort against Chen Yu Fei through netplay. Still the All England champion is ahead in terms of technical awareness and self belief especially at critical points, 21-19.

Hmm, Kenta lost meekly against KS. Yesterday, Kanta also lost to Kantaphon in a long hard battle. I don't know what's wrong with them. Seems like after a hard training regime from JPN badminton team, it is not enough for them to produce good result.

Whoa, Angga/Ricky beat Lee/Wang in just 30 minutes in 3 games. How is that even possible? Not taking away from Angga/Ricky's victory, but Lee/Wang must be really tired.

Momota's performance was not good enough like before. Maybe the hard train caused the whole team to be tired.
Mixed double is done when Hoki/Nagahara and Yuta/Arisa lost yesterday.

Very possible. Lee/Wang retired during the final of last week's US Open, due to a back injury sustained by Wang. He won't have recovered. Actually, I am surprised that the match went as far as three games.

As for Nishimoto and Tsuneyama, ... they seem to have fallen completely apart. Nishimoto, in particular, seems to be going through a confidence crisis. Somehow, I don't think they are going to make it to the Olympics.

Right now, they are still within the top 16. If no other catch-up players perform better, I think they will go to Olympics.

Nishimoto should find another racket, z speed may not fit to him. And use cloth grip handle. I see him asking the umpire to use towel many times to dry his handle.

Yeah, that is also the possibility. Aside from injury, they also suffer jetlag. This is their third consecutive tournaments. Injury, jetlag, tiredness play the part.

Ohori has a stupid head. She love "1 shot-1 kill".

With this match, "just clear and defence and wait for her turn" to win. But she love playing net shot, a lot of net shot errors, I didn't see Sindhu making any effort to take game 2 and 3.

Dear friend, this is badminton forum. Let's not discuss about the cricket. Even though am from India, I hate cricket to the core. There are so many cricket forums all over internet. Plz I request you to use those to share your views.

So, let us forget about it. Indonesia open is going on. Let us focus on this.

The lack of hawkeye at a super 1000 tournament is simply an embarrassment to the sport.

How many game outcomes were altered by not being able to challenge...we'll never know.

Should blame to the one that send hawkeye to the wrong place. But, yeah, it's bad without hawkeye.

Rest easy, hawkeye will be available tomorrow.

    Srikanth ousted Kenta convincingly today.
