    If you say so....:D

Not at all surprising, no doubles pair makes as many mistakes. G2 they were up 12-6 or something and ended up 17-21. I have no illusions about how that came to pass.;)

Don't you think the playing condition in musashino would make the match last longer this time ? :D

regarding the lineup of matches when tv/bwf streaming is involved: the bwf tournament organizers handbook states the organizers and referee, together, can decide the order of play.

it's the least bwf can do considering how much the host/organizers pay to put on a tournament... $$$$$$$!

are you sure? have you seen my 23 & me results?
there's no 'keep off the grass' sign posted at the edge of your posts. are you sure i didn't step on something else of yours?
only if you believe i am, or was ever one.
so, do you believe everything you see/read on the internet?
to incite speculation, confusion and, as i now see here, passion.
too easy since i live in the dark.
i am doing the job. can't you see i'm in the middle of mowing your lawn in the sweltering heat? after which i will install that 'keep of the grass' sign.
i am firmly in charge of my emotions.
too few? too many? please teach me the correct #.
don't forget about the carrots in there, too.
you were expecting an apology from someone you now consider a troll?
age aside, you have obviously not read my profile. therefore, i cannot be responsible for any reactions fellow members may or may not have to my participation on this msg board.

Takahashi has the worst body language in badminton. She's never supporting her partner but basically scolds her for mistakes by turning away from her and looking disgusted. They could imo be more successful if Takahashi wasn't taking her frustration out on Matsutomo all the time.

Suprised to see Sai has 2-2 head record against Momota. If he is more agile and better fitness, he can challenge top players consistently.

    Play hard. Train harder.

Some quality deceptions by Sai making Momota stranded couple of times but not enough as Momota takes the first game.

I haven't seen Sai much except for 2017 SO final, Swiss Open 2019 SF and Finals and WC 2018 QF. I have to say he's the most skillful Indian MS Player. He's got great skills and elegance in his playing style but that alone is not enough to challenge top players. You've got to be consistent for that.

Still Steen doesn't comment much about it. I don't have hard feelings against Steen, I appreciate his ananlysis. I try to be unbiased always, but I think he becomes somewhat stunned or unhappy whenever Sai plays quality shots or Sindhu does well. I maybe wrong but that's my perception.

He has his set of favourite players but unfortunately none of the Indian players are on the list. As a fan you would want a BWF commentator to be as neutral as possible because his/her commentating is being viewed/heared in multiple countries. If it is regional commentary, it is understandable that the commentator will be biased towards his/her favourite/regional players. Some of Steen's commentating in Sindhu vs TTY or Sindhu vs Yamaguchi were just ridiculous.

Come on, he's constantly been praising his shotmaking. Even says it now after the match and not one word on Momota's performance.
I think for Sai the problem in the second was obvious, especially in the second; fitness. He looked much slower and made bigger mistakes than in the first.

Sorry guys, I really can't agree and if you watch this match again with a little less frustration involved, you'll see that you're demanding way too much here. How much more neutral can you commentate a match than this one? Did Steen constantly praise Momota or what?
And I don't know about Steen and Sindhu, but she's most certainly Gill's favourite player and Gill's much worse at hiding that.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if you accuse Steen of bias today, at least back that up. I think you really can't, he was about as even with his praise as you can be.

I think what MF is to you, SP is to me ;). I still think he didn't give that much credit to Sai when it was due in the first game. Half hearted comments can be judged. Other than that, no doubt his analysis or Gill, MF analysis is way better than us forummers.
