Let's make prediction, analysis, or whatever about the players that may cause an upset in this upcoming BWC. Tell us about which player and how he/she does it. I'm sure that there are plenty of dark horses this time. Some of them will likely go far to further round.

If only An Se Young were to play I think she would have cause a few upsets.

Wrong. PVS can only meet TTY in QF.

Sorry, my mistake, this tournament is 64 players but not 32 players, so that Iwas wrong.

Sindhu will stop Tai at QF

Big task for TTY, I think she'll get nervous again like last year.

Well, let's see what really happens. Maybe you are right that it is a big task for TTY. After all, PVS is known for doing great in major tournaments.

After Marin, Sindhu is the most consistent player in major tournament, always go at least to semi final

lcw lost to brice was an upset. Vik beat lin in australia 2015 was an upset. Vik beat lin in wc 2017 wasnt. He beat tai last year wasnt an upset. And surely if pv beat tai in anytime, it wouldnt be an upset since they had similar age and had some success in their early career

CL lost to Kevin Cordon in 2011, that was an upset. I expect no upset that big for this year

Heh, that's really bold. If she can beat AY, it will be a really HUGE upset.

    That's not even an upset.

Not sure which one is more favored to win the match.

Realistically I would guess there's probably a 5% chance of it happening. In my opinion when she's in form she plays like a top 10 player but she lost pretty convincingly against Nozomi Okuhara in Australia and scraped past ASY last week who has been playing pretty much nonstop since late June. I would be happy enough if she takes a game off her.

Not really. I won't consider AY as being inferior to AY. After all, AY beat TTY on the last meeting.
