Ginting or Christie will never have a chance to meet Momota because Nishimoto will go to quarter final

I wonder how Yeo Jia Min is coping with jet lag coming from the JPN Akira Masters Final yesterday to play in R1 of the Basel WC in Switzerland about 24 hours later, a time difference of 7 hours.

Oops. what am I thinking. Thanks for the correction.

So I guess Zhang Nan is the only one who has to get over his jet lag as quickly as possible by tomorrow , and, to a lesser extent, his partner, Liu Cheng who was in the semifinals of the Akira Masters with a different partner then.

As Liu/Zhang are seeded pairs in MD, they will start playing on Wednesday, not tomorrow, thankfully.

Yes, but since he's traveling west, jet lag should be fairly manageable. It's usually trips eastwards that cause some serious jet lag issues, most people can easily stretch their days out a few hours with no problem.

Goodbye Ouseph and wish you a happy retirement. Kinda sad to see someone leaving the game. Don't know how I would feel when Lin Dan makes his farewell :(

    Lin Dan, jia you!!

Zhang Nan seemed to play in Akita Masters while conserving his energy. Dunno about LC though, didn't get to watch his matches.

True, there's some difference between travelling eastward as opposed to westward, and for a seasoned traveler and highly experienced professional like Zhang Nan, I supposed seven hours westward isn't to bad, should be manageable. In that case, he'd have to deal with accumulated fatigue better then.
