It's only in the final lap of G3 that Zhang/Ou managed to surge to the finishing line, overtaking Liu/Huang for a place in the final of the INA Masters'19.
Good to see Sun Feixiang using his brains to play Soong Joo Ven, reading his opponent's game and anticipating quite a bit of his shots. But Tanongsak is a clever, mature and highly experienced player, not that easy to outsmart him tomorrow. Let's see how it goes.
Not bad, in G2, Li Yun realized she couldn't out-rally Wang Zhiyi , trailing by as much as 6-14 at one point, and switched to taking the initiative to attack more. But just when she crept back to 16-17, WZY still managed to outplay Li Yun, winning it 21-16 and the match.
If Team CHN loses the two singles to INA, I doubt she can escape defeat this time - INA doubles are strong. In fact, CHN already one down, losing the XD.
Wardani will look like Wang Yihan when she gets older. She's a good player, a next prospect from Indonesia after GMT ?
Who is this commentator? He made a comment "the all conquering Chinese" . Quite a racist statement I feel. Uncalled for and inept.
Well done Wardani. She has potential but needs to minimise UE and try to kill the shuttle when she gets a chance. There were many chances to win easy points but she lacked the power and accuracy.
No way INA is going to miss the world junior team crown How is Liu Liang to beat Bobby who defeated Kunlabvut yesterday ?
What did the commentator say ? I didn't hear the full statement. Maybe he meant by "all conquering Chinese" that Chinese have conquered all the major badminton titles in the past and he didn't link it politically. Still, if you know then do tell what did he say before and after "all conquering Chinese".
Upsets do happen. Liu Liang can win against Bobby. Who predicted that Bobby would beat the invincible Kunlavut ?
That description alone is certainly not racist, the commentator is just carried away, forgetting Team CHN did poorly last year at the WJC, no longer that dominant.
