Do you know why Dhruv Kapila is being made to waste time with J Meghna instead of pairing him with Rutuparna Panda.
And not with Krishna in MD. I mean M R Arjun is ok, but Dhruv is supposed to be a "child prodigy" why waste his early years with someone who hasn't achieved anything in a considerably long career.
However happy to see some good wins from Indian Jr and good run for Rituparna.

And also for Yusuke, two good weeks and he's defeated two of the frontrunners of next generation Kunlavut and SFX. Although I believe the former was too tired after WJC

I don't expect anything from Indian coaching team. They always seem to take peculiar decisions. I don't know why Dhruv has been partnered with M.Jakkampudi. I think Kuhoo Garg may have been a better option for Dhruv. Haven't seen much of Rutuparna Panda :(.

I can only think of one reason behind partnering Dhruv with Arjun and Shlok with Krishna ie to have lower experienced players partnered with more experienced. But this may backfire as I'm sure Dhruv/Krishna may have beaten Arjun/Shlok easily. Dhruv/Arjun had one good result beating Kim Sa Rang pair and Krishna/Shlok beating Mathias Christannsen pair. Then they lost meekly in next rounds.

I expected more from Ashmita than Rituparna but the latter one surprised me.
Yusuke has tough task today against compatriot Kodai. Who do you think will have the last laugh ?

SFX = Sun Feixiang? At what is he a "frontrunner of the next generation"? Because it can't be badminton. :D

You did not follow tournaments it seems. Yusuke defeated Li shifeng not SFX.
And also Yusuke is not young also. He is very hard worker on court. He is an attacking so much until the opponent gives up. This kind of style is injury prone.

My bad. Yeah but never too late to bloom is it.
True that, but it's very exciting watching him.

Its always tough to play senior compatriots. Asmita did good in other matches, not too bad.
However disappointing how Ira Sharma and Akarshi played off late, considering they were the top of the lot not long ago.
Has she moved to Gopichand's yet?

If I could think of one player who has the "potential" to come minutely close to Sindhu and Saina. That is Ashmita but watching her development and limited scope of improvement due to her age, I think she's at Max top 50 level player. Above that rank would be a miracle. But she needs to move out of Assam first to develop more.

You know the level of our WS U19, Aakarshi topping it doesn't come to be as a surprise but I would be glad if she performs in international senior level. I don't think she has the physique and movement required to excel in senior stage (super 100 onwards). I think Aakarshi is still with PPBA after relocating from Chhatisgarh and I guess Ira Sharma is with SM Arif
