    diu only few nice rallies...second half of game 2 was pretty bad....faster shuttle ruins the show....

    I wonder since when MD match is "tamer" compare to WD match. But, the intensity still can be felt in MD than WD.

    Since MD match always has much shorter rallies than WD. Depending on the players of course.

    Momota should've just lost yesterday against HKV instead of today, now we would hear all indonesian fans saying that ginting is the only one that can trouble/beat momota etc etc :rolleyes:

    I'm kinda split on how to evaluate this.

    The sensible, professional argument is clearly yours, don't injured yourself, it is way too much already, give a walkover (or skip Paris altogether).
    On the other hand, I admire his character. He knew full well beforehand that he couldn't win against Ginting today. Yet he walks on court, gives everything he's got left and submits himself to a humiliation.

    Overall, I'm leaning to your side. Being professional is also knowing your limits, especially when an injury could severely dent his chances of what will be the biggest event of his life next year. I still admire him for trying.
