Hi, which of these strings the best for beginner player? Tension is usually at 23-25lbs. Aerobite Aerobite Boost BG 66 Brilliant
Imo the best beginner strings are either BG65 or BG65ti at a tension of 22 pounds. Also don't use BG brilliant
I'd personally avoid BG65. I tried it at a lower tension some years back when beginning and it was no better than the awful stock string I was hoping to upgrade. No repulsion, no feeling, nothing. I understand it's different at really high tensions that some players play with, but at low tension it's just bad. Aerobite boost seems to be my new favourite, I use higher tension now than is asked, but it has dropped tension from when it was strung and it's still good. So it might be good at lower tensions also. Just as a warning, the Aerosonic string in it means it seems to have a smaller sweetspot than a larger diameter string, so for instance, when I strung ABB the same tension as BG80, it felt tighter with a smaller sweetspot. Just something to be aware of (regular aerobite also has the aerosonic string).
Thanks for your feedback. What I am afraid of Aerobite Boost string is the diameter is thick. Personally, I think thick strings are only for advanced players. For a beginner-intermediate player like me who depends so much on the string repulsion, I dont think I will benefit from Aerobite Boost, what do you think?
The repulsion is there on the Aerobite boost, that's why it has the thinner aerosonic string as a component. It's more of a question whether you like harder feeling strings (like the ABB or BG80) or medium feeling strings (regular aerobite, aerosonic etc). That question you can only answer yourself through trying out different strings. Though if repulsion is your thing, Li-ning nr1 has the most repulsion I have personally tried (though I did not like the feeling of it, but feeling is subjective).

i personally have my rackets at 24 lbs. Nanogy 98 - last longest without feeling dead. But slippery. 66um - great string, but feels dead after around a month for me. Aerobite is like in between those 2.

Of the three possibilities clearly the aerobite! Good control and good medium feeling. The Aerobite Boost is much harder to the arm. In my opinion a beginner should start with the BG65 at 22lbs. Good string and long durability. The string also forgives misshits.
Non, and 23-25 lbs is not a tension for a beginner. Since a beginners technique is mostly weak, the highest priority is that she/he don't injure due many offcenter hitting or break strings frequently due mishitting. Anything else in terms of performance, control etc. comes behind it. I would suggest BG65 @ 20 lbs. A beginner should learn how to hit effective and hit the shuttle properly. Without that you won't control anything on court regardless if you use BG66UM at 24, Aerobite at 25 or BG80 @ 31.
One may argue Aerosonic can easily generate clear and loud smashes. However because of its thin gauge, it is a very bouncy string that make slicing difficult to control for beginner even at 23-25lb tension range.
Its just personal preference, for me aerosonic can easily generate power, if u feel it very bouncy u can increase the tension. i didnt use it aerosonic anymore,because the durability and it didnt give me solid feel .but i think its still good string.
