This partnerships doesn't work as expected and no promising prospect it seems, former WJC He/Du combination actually is better option to back up their top two pairs but too bad both players have double duties. Russian XD, Alimov/Davletova did well to oust higher-ranked Malaysian opponents Tan KM/Lai PJ in three games. Title contenders, Wang/Huang, Thai duo Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai, Rio OG silver medalists Chan/Goh ease past their opening hurdles comfortably. Surprisingly, court 2 livestream has an excellent camera angle to appreciate shot quality. Too bad it's a tad blurry and not available for court 1. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Saw this girl play. Very tenacious. No coach with her. She has to problem solve herself in her matches. She got a generous round of applause for her win. https://bwfworldtour.bwfbadminton.c...X94R2iSwbbGchRkAFRqt632DRGII5iQYBbxvyvacNjg1U
And to win against a HK player too... must have been a scrappy battle to garner local support. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
She earned the right to have a crack. She is still a bit away from that level but I really enjoyed watching her play. Hope we can see more of her in the future.
BoeCon beaten HanZhou 3rd time in 4th meeting. you just have to learn to beat those guys, Boe isn't going to go away anytime soon. He can beat a few of top 8 players, why will he retire.
But after what Mogensen went through, i think Conrad is an upgrade, think he is more of a better front court player than Mo. while Mo has lost power at the back anyway. At current, BoeCon is slated to play in Tokyo OG. There are only 16 pairs, any horse is a dark horse to get the OlympicMedal, imo. Thus, the quality of MD in 16 pairticipiants in OG, is 2 level higher compared to WD & XD .
AFAIK, they parted ways after a dispute concerning Mogensen's health status. Still looking for Mogensen's comeback with Kolding.
They had a fallout. IIRC Boe commented something about Mogensen never really recovered from his illness. Mogensen then said that Boe was not a doctor.
bwahahahaha! however, to his credit, boe is working towards a how-to-administer-a-random-draw-that-suits-my-personal-preferences diploma, officially certified by the reputable tournament administrating firm antonsen, chen & lin, plc.
SikkiPonappa losing 14-4 in second game. I'm sure they'll win back to back 17 points and beat the Danish pair below 5 in the decider. Just wait and watch
