Hi guys,as the title suggest Can anyone share their thoughts on what grip from Lining or Mizuno that has similar feel to Yonex AC 102 Just want my racket to have the same grip brand
Use your AC102 and either don't use any finishing tape (starting with the 'wrong' side, so you have the little sticky part at the top) or replace it with some other tape (different label or electrical tape). Electrical tape is highly recommended for Voltrics.
I have yet to find a synthetic grip that perform as well as Yonex AC102. Perhaps anyone has tried Toalson asterisk or Neo Quick would like share experience with me?
Recently tried mizuno MG875 Duratac. A little firmer and slightly less tacky compared to AC102EX. Performed well with moisture from palms. Supposed to be more durable as the name says lol. Have yet to try MG871 soft&tacky. But i am satisfied with duratac so far and close enough to AC102EX
I didn't understand why it is highly recommended for a voltric racket. Could you please explain it to me?
Well, nobody said it's a good joke. Everybody can laugh about good jokes, but only few of us can really appreciate bad jokes.... If it makes you feel better, the like that @ucantseeme gave to that post came after it was quoted yesterday and he was part of this discussion when I wrote it... more than two months ago.
If it makes you both feel better: I googled yesterday "Voltric cones" and was thinking about the fact that electric tape is better than the Yonex sticker because of the shape of the cone. I didn't get the joke up to now, too. The like was for leaving the sticker alone if somebody get a meltdown when the Li-Ning racket has a Wilson grip and a Yonex String and rest in a Victor bag.
And mizuno buttcap. Probably the jokes on voltric-electrical tape was about the term voltric that might relates to electrical terms or products, therefore electrical tapes are best combo with voltric #puns Sent from my Mi 9 SE using Tapatalk
I admit it the jokes was quite funny But found it a bit pathetic because its everybody choices and quite a lot of people also searching for AC102 alternatives Also, pathetic you who often look down on others opinion, looking for acknowledgement arent you bro
I think the most pathetic joke is that somebody who can use AC102 and like it, don't choose it because it's not the same brand like his racket. That's superficial at its best.
You know what, i still use AC102 tho until now And because of researching other brands option etc i also use Lining GP21 and Mizuno MG871 which is cheaper and i also like it And there it is,jokes or else its my preference not yours and it does keep my mind in ease when i did things like that But feel free tho to comment what you like right here
Wilson Pro Overgrip is better version of AC102 imo. Tackier, more absorption, better cushioing but only comes in white.
i think they do come in pink, orange, bright red, teal, sort of banana green, and grey based on their website. Here in malaysia they do come on various colours, but not on the pack of 30 (only white, black, and yellow).
