Hello, i am playing badminton just for fun at my university. My current racket is a wilson aggressor 90, it very old and I could not find anything about the specs and balance online. But if I use a measuring tape, the center seems to be moved about a few centimeters to the holder. Maybe the balanced BP racket fits you.. its really is a personal stuff. For me I would enjoy 5u/4u weight, 290-300mm balance (slightly head heavy), med stiff or stiff shaft. If any racket coming out crosses 2 or 3 of those, I would check it out. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
If you play just for fun, just ignore all the complicated stuff like racket spec & tech as all of it wont do any good for you. But then again, what is fun for you? Happy stroke exchange with friend & alot of laugh? Or serious games even tho its not a tournament but still try to be competitive with your friend?
The easiest and cheapest option is to restring your current racket first. If it has not been restrung recently, or ever, then it feel like a different racket.
I know all 3 rackets from my clients pretty well (Based in Germany, too ). Out of the three I would suggest the Dual Tec. For me a good allrounder and balanced racket. The P950 is kinda head heavy, not everybodys cup of tea, but has the largest head. The Spektros 305 is at me for restring. Pretty thick shaft, but more headlight than P950. IMO the Dual Tec is the most modern out of the three. Actual pattern, slimmer shaft, I would go without a doubt for the Dual Tec. A restring is a must on each of them. The Oliver jobs, especially on the older models are horrible.
Thanks! I will take a look at both this week. DUAL TEC as first and the P950 as second choice. My old racket needs a new grip too, is 0.5 or 1.5mm standard on these new ones (to compare)?
