Another similarity, they both like to play top spin backhand defense :D

His defense is pretty awful this tournament, so lucky to win the title. Cant even beat Hafglo and Pramel in straights at homeground somemore.

I can feel he s nervous which is weird. Its way easy to get to Final in XD. Why even nervous against Hafglo?

In MD, it will be much more nerve wrecking i should say. All are beasts. PLaying against girl you can relax a little bit. Many instances in a match where you can lift to the girl , like when a male player receiving, etc. at least 30% of times. so its way different.

If his defense is awful in this tournament then what about gideon lol. he can't even defend properly against endo, imagine if he has to deal with praveen :D

I do agree though they're very lucky to win the title.

if gideon's defense is so bad,

Only 5000 points separate Minions and Daddies, Can AhsanHendra overtake Minions if they win the title in Malaysia?

Gideon's defense is usually pretty okay, but gotta say in this WTF it's suddenly become pretty bad, but well at least it's still not as bad as rian :D

I think he need to consider to change the grip when he's defending his forehand side.

Wonder why very few male players can have extraordinary defense? Is it because his hand is too big or too fat (like Gideon) (or too lanky like Li) or maybe too short like Sonoda?

Whether ZSW defense better or not than Marcus, but he's definitely has much better attacks.

yuta watanabe is quicker than zsw. zsw is more powerful. yuta has more variety and has higher court & game iq.

Also their performance reminds me of CaiFu last match in WorldChamp2013 against AhsanHendra. They look bewildered back then. I think they appeared 1 more match in TC but thats basically their last match.

However, this is different scenario and situation

Bewildered is not the right word for their performance in the match. It's more like Marcus somehow forgot how to play badminton. If he can't attack, at least he should be able to defense better. Usually it takes a lot more to break him but I don't know what the hell was wrong with him. And rather than trying to not feel sorry for himself, he sulked and kind of left Kevin doing all the work on his own to figure out ways to get them out of the situation.

Thought of that before, won’t work very well I think haha. One kevin will be damn irritated he has to play from the back. But it would be super funny to see two kevins crouching when defending ready to smash their opponent’s smash

    Haha that'd be cool
If we could turn back to the time when Kevin used to be in the back, like when he was with selvanus geh, then Kevin/Kevin might be a good combo

Bonus: we can see how Kevin reacts when getting annoyed by another Kevin lol

They can always rotate and take turns lol. He used to be back court player too, they can share the roles 50-50. But I think one Kevin will get irritated if the other Kevin steal a kill haha. It would be funny too to see both always going for the same shot and race to get a kill.

If you are talking about making errors, then it shouldn't be a problem. :D Neither Kevin would care of how the other reacts.

What I really want to see is how two Kevins handle situations if they play Li/Liu, Madses or other annoying pairs: WW4? lol

Oh I thought it was Steen saying that Kevin didn't go wild enough in this tournament. No artistic impression which he usually does in big events (SF and F) which always impresses Steen a lot. Marcus didn't perform well enough to activate Kevin as he usually would.
No minions entertainment ltd stock going up lol
