Woah hmm, I would have thought there would be more “defenders” of Kevin than Gideon. Not saying the criticism isn’t valid, but I would’ve thought more would have defended Kevin given he’s more flamboyant and expressive in his play. Interesting...

That means there is something wrong with his attitude. so its might not just mindset problem like Gideon. Regardless, they will meet EndoW in QF in IndonesiaMasters. Better pray the hall is as windy as possible.

Why everyone only see or blame Kevin for his attitude?
What about Marcus? There is nothing wrong with him? If he can't change, then why should we only expect Kevin to change? Not fair.

If they lost too in istora then I don't know what to say anymore. that's the best place for them to beat endo/watanabe.

If they lost again , then i will listen to YiNanPing in Untamed ost for the saddest song.

But LiLiu lost 11 times to Minions and they arent disbanded. EndoW is good, but just because they beat EndoW in QF, dont mean they will win the title. In fact its endoW that is pitied, beat them twice only to present the title to AhsanHendra, i should say.

In fact, i think Endo is thinking too much at the end of the game... Like when he hits the net , he is like saying i cant blow this again after beating Minions twice.

Just like Marcus. It has been either Marcus or Endo who broke in the battle between minions vs Endo/Wata. Marcus seemed to have lost it more often this year.

Good for Endo, his talented partner didn't show bad gestures even when Endo several times wasted away their chances to win the matches

Watanabe has to harakiri if he does that on public to his senior:rolleyes:
Endo almost consistently messes up, by the way. How often do they lose? Much less than minions?

If you are down just because some bad gestures, you really need to reconsider your career as a sports man (highest level at the least)

Some have the worst body languages too. Especially the females.. even top WDs pairs could be so negatively frustrating to watch when they struggle.

Just realised that Indonesia Masters draw is out and finally understood what the posts above talking of.
They are the defending champions for both MM and IM. Though I'd rather them winning the AE later, but they should do well.
Fast conditions means Kevin becomes much much more error prone especially in earlier rounds but Marcus is usually quite solid... so..

I read that Kevin went to a concert of Sheila On 7, and went jet skiing. While Gideon vacationed to some famous beach in West Java. They seem to be enjoying the holiday season:)

    Kevin went to Mount Merapi.

I went to the CentralJava during the FuzhouOpen but didnt go to Mt Merapi went to Borobudur & Prambanan. I think he goes to those places as where.

Chen Qiqiu no longer MD coach. Indeed CHN MDs haven't been doing that well this year so I guess it's inevitable? I wonder if it will have much impact on CHN MDs, as Olympics is closing in.

Do minions or Ahsan/Hendra have to worry about the CHN pairs too more than usual from now on?

They are back to training to prepare for MM in less than 2 weeks. Just a week after New Year, players don't have much break during the holidays.

The new coach, Wang Wei, is fairy young and does not seem to have a high reputation (no disrespect, just based on what I read). He was the coach for the junior’s team that didn’t do very well on doubles in the past junior WC.

The new assistant coach, Lu Hengwen, however is very experienced in MD. He was Cai/Fu’s coach. He also trained Di Zijian/Wang Chang.
