this korean pair is different. both are seasoned players who have won multiple titles (including WC medals and one Olympic gold).
the only thing going against them is their age, like Ahsan/Setiawan.

Heartbreak for LiLiu... damn what does it take for them to win after 3 INA pairs ousted..

Didnt think FajarRian will give better fight than this.. just like i guess, LiLiu body cant last for 5 days, what do you think? 3 easy rounds cant help them..

I hope ahsan/hendra can met KGJ/LYD at indonesia masters next week, the last 2 times they met KGJ/LYD were being destroyed...but maybe after this win they would have more confidence and believe they can still be competitive.

The funny thing is LYD/kGJ is slated to play Minions in R1 this week.. without the withdrawals, either Minions or LYD will be knocked R1...

Badminton so ironic.. did LYD celebrate like his last SS win? I thought when LYD celebrated like winning Olympic yesterday, he will have lost today..

Have seen LiLiu wild celebrations then lose the next day,

Cool win by LYD/Kim. But goddamn LYD you’re good enough not to frigging delay your serve like Choi.

Well hope it's true, I'm an old fan of LYD. But I just don't buy it now.
And that Olympic Gold was from XD not MD, I don't think we should bring it to the conversation.

I won't be surprised if this is the only title they won this year. That aside, happy that LYD won.

same here, happy to see LYD again in a final. Kim Sa Rang was also playing in this tournament.
just treasure the chances of seeing them in action. time flies and in another 1-2 years, they might not play competitively again.

I had a little chuckle when steen said something like, "this is the match that would be studied by all the coaches around the world" like, ok ?? I mean it's fair to say that when they won like 3-4 tournament (super500+) at least, but to say that after 1 good tournament from LYD/KGJ is a little funny to me.

maybe Steen is referring to coaches studying ways to counter the twin towers, instead of LYD/KGJ.

How does anyone know which sports channel it's showing Live, for some strange reason BWF has stopped live streaming here in UK.

Li/liu getting caught a number of times when LYD play those attacking lift to the backcourt. it's clear that they're not used to playing someone that play that kind of shot, usually every player nowadays would just block everything to get the initiative, or just play a drive.
