Yep. I felt he played really well after a while. He seems more motivated to claim his spot to Olympics. After all he lost to an in-form NKL, having taken g1 convincingly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No more detail, I take it from twitter! This picture was from Thailand tour, just a few days ago. Actually I don't like it! Nishimoto should focus on tournaments and Olympic now. I hope it's not a date, it's better for both, now.
In my opinion, Kenta Nishimoto has improved quite a bit, when he took G1 convincingly from Angus Ng, I thought he would cruise to victory, but, I somewhat underestimated Angus who, admittedly, has improved even more under Du Pengyu's tutelage (and sparring, I supposed).
I don't think so. The peak of Nishimoto was in 2018, in Kong Hong Open. At that time he played like Momota's style and can reach 75-80% Momota's performance.
Nishimoto and his brother ^-^. Wish Taufik can be Nishimoto's coach for 2 next years. Or at least, 3 months.
They do look alike lol! Oh he would benefit so much from some additional coaching from Taufik. Maybe developing a different style from the normal japanese team.
From what I gathered, it's just a very short announcement on Tonami Badminton website (http://www.tonami-badminton.jp/news/news20200601.html). He will go independent as Okuhara had done, and continue chasing the ticket to Olympic as before. Hmm then Tonami only has Kanta Tsuneyama left as a (reliable) singles player in team competition
Nishimoto lost at the first round. I'm quite disappointed, but I think his game is ok. Nishimoto should treasure every single point. He lost 2-3 points unfortunately by mistake (clear shoot was out or wrong in-out judge) and this can lead to win or lose a game.
