You mean like super anxious, super low risk, marathon discussions etc? And that's just in normal day to day life.
Men's Team Group B : IND v KAZ, 4-1 Prannoy played MD, paired up with Chirag Shetty due to Rankireddy suffered ankle injury at just concluded PBL. A crucial tie against MAS on Thursday, India will banking on singles category to secure top position and avoid strong team in last eight stage.
Can someone elaborate how are the Olympic Qualification points awarded based on BAC performance? Thanks
Prannoy trying his hands on doubles. Everybody needs points . But , guys, wake up. Who are here still think they need to witness this nonsense. Better give some junior doubles players some exposure instead of the same old 'singles playing doubles' story.
This article may be too elaborate for you but it gives you the gist, and then some. Unfortunately, the BWF moves it regs URLs all the time so the update of what the article's broken link directs to, the page containing Regulation 7.2, is here.
Is there really any difference between with the tournament with China and Hong Kong around and without for India's chance?
For Ranki/Shetty, you mean? They should better focus on Super 750 and above. Those higher tier tournaments offer a lot more points.
No, I mean for other MS players who are in dire state. Since other doubles pair is not good, for India the chances of winning 2 out of 3 singles and 1 out of 2 doubles is more(if Satwik is playing). So other Indian players need Satwik so that India can win more ties (a tie is 5 matches played between two countries), and other Indian players also get a chance of increasing OQ points because they get play an extra match. I hope I am clear this time.
BWF News : https://bwfthomasubercups.bwfbadmin...-on-badminton-asia-team-championships-2020-2/ Update on Badminton Asia Team Championships 2020 Tuesday, February 11, 2020 TEXT BY BWF STAFF ======================================================== The decision of the Philippine government to impose a 14-day quarantine period for any athletes from China, Hong Kong China, and Macau China entering Philippines meant participation was not possible. This decision is fully respected and supported by all parties in view of the health and safety of the Philippine government for its people. This came after the Philippine Government initially imposed a temporary ban for all travellers from China, Hong Kong China, and Macau China entering the country. BWF acknowledges the implications of the non-participation of China and Hong Kong China upon team qualification for the TOTAL BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2020, as well as individual ranking points for the Race to Tokyo Olympic qualification process. However, no concrete decisions have yet been made in response to these implications. BWF will continue to monitor all official developments on the coronavirus situation and work with Badminton Asia and all Member Associations to provide the necessary support and information to affected parties. At this time, the health, safety and wellbeing of the entire badminton community is paramount. India’s women’s team voluntarily withdrew from the Badminton Asia Team Championships on Saturday “owing to concerns showed by parents and players”. The Indian men’s team is still competing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's rumor said that China players will fly to Europe earlier (maybe this weekend), preparing to participate BWF Europe Tour (GER-AE-SUI) and avoid similar impacts occur again.
