Pranav mosquito is a host to sikki parasite, now that parasite is going to bite KPG and infect him. :(:(.

Very poor decision, dangerous enough to ruin a career of a talented 19' kid :(.

I think after Spain Masters, maybe Krishna will get paired with Podile or others who have just left the junior scene.

For tomorrow, I would like to see BSP vs KW, LS vs KV, Dey vs Khosit. Dhruv/Chirag in first doubles. Arjun/Kidambi in second singles.

Please no HSP in singles. Better give chance to Lakshya and Dey.

Sai and Prannoy got demolished by Malaysian Youngsters. Well done India. Every nation works hard to move ahead while India is working very hard to move behind.

This appears to be a tactical move by India to take MD1 out of the equation.
The strongest MD pairing would have been Dhruv Kapila/Chirag Shetty

India will be happy with a semifinal finish as they were not expected to cross QF! The writing on the wall is clear, invest in youth as the senior players have started stagnating. This win will boost the confidence of the young players, Dhruv Kapila/MR Arjun, Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty.

Was looking fwd to your post. This win was surely unexpected. Nothing to be proud of as it doesn't change the fact that had Bodin/Maneepong got fielded, there would have been no chance for us. This result will not help us for long term. BSP, KS, HSP not at all reliable. As of now, they and us should be happy that they'll get to play more matches.

For tomorrow, I think BSP should play against ASG, Chirag/Dhruv against minions, Lakshya against JC, Arjun/Kidambi against Daddies, Dey vs Shesar.

A great result for us tbh. We lost 3-2 but I never imagined us getting even 1 point. Realistically, I guessed 3-0 loss for us. But an optimist (yeah strange) in me hoped 3-1 loss (win from bsp against asg).

Coming to bsp vs asg match , couldn't even watch the match due to lag in stream. He got injured maybe don't know. In form BSP vs in form ASG would have been 50-50 imo.

Then came LS vs JC. Never expected Lakshya to win against him. This is his first win against a top 10 player. Previously, he has played against top/once top ranked players like SWH, Tanongsak and HKV and lost. So, this is his first high profile win. He surged ahead in first game. In second game, he lost his pedal after leading 19-15. JC did very well to catch up and then making it 20-20. In the end, Lakshya won 22-20. Awesome result for us.

Then came Dhruv/Arjun vs Daddies or clones of Daddies , don't know who they were. Only dhruv was good. Arjun was very poor. That match was so poor. I couldn't believe my eyes this was daddies playing. Luck was on Dhruv/Arjun side but they couldn't convert it into a win. Anyways, a good experience for them. I'm hoping Dhruv will get better and better. Not hoping much from Arjun.

Dey vs Rhustavito result was also unexpected. As Dey was already in not so good form. Add to that, last time shesar defeated Dey in French open r16/QF 2019. At that match, dey could only get a total of 9 points. So coming into the match I wasn't expecting him to win. Subhankar played well and grabbed his chances giving us memorable win. Dey is a workhorse, grinder. Not a smart player. Had he been taken into PGBA earlier in his teenage , his game would have been a lot better. Also, good to see him getting coached by Sidayat as Indian coaches don't even care to guide him during WTS matches.

Last match Minions vs Sen/Chirag. I won't comment anything as all top pairs in the world find it difficult to play against them so who is Sen/Chirag ?

Now only positives to take from this tournament is performances of Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty, Dhruv Kapila and Subhankar Dey. If we talk about future, then Lakshya, Chirag and Dhruv performances were good. Time for management to see the reality that so called top ranked players don't even have that attitude to be called as a professional. Youth players should come up now. Management will be happy that we won a bronze medal at BATC. But they won't say that we had disastrous performances by BSP, KS, HSP. Shameful.

This generation gap should have been filled by Ansal Yadav, Rahul Yadav, Harsheel Dani and Aditya Joshi but instead we have to wait for Lakshya, Priyanshu, Kiran George, Meiraba and others. I'm talking about MS only. Other categories have even worse situation.
