Just watched the match of VA against Sen from India. The smash power of 100zz is noticeably weaker than the Z Strike previously used by VA. Looks like those review are quite accurate regarding the 100zz will shines more for front court. However, i’m more curious over the 100zx, will it be better in terms of power

I've noticed that in the VA match too. It doesn't look as powerful as the Z Strike. So forget it being more powerful than the AX88D.

I'll stick the this racket then. I just need to make sure i'm fit all the time.

You guys are really epic. What an epic pair of eyes you all have.
Can you please look into the molecular structure of COVID-19 and find a way to break up and neutralize this stupid virus?

Watching him not smash so hard = racket sucks in power?

Have you ever considered that he's not going all out, being the favorite to advance to tomorrow, and playing the long game conserving his energy and not using it all just for a Round 2 game?
You want to start with all guns blazing and then run out of gas by Friday? Even if he has the best physio in the world the body recovery can only do so much in less than 24 hours?

Or that he's changed his style and got more mature to wait for a chance rather than going all out and slamming every overhead shot?

Have you also noticed yesterday that Endo was reluctant to full smash?
Dude's 30+ and has more experience than power at this stage now? And it's only R1?
It's the racket's fault too now?

Maybe LYD full jumping in the air and smashing hard with NF700 means the NF700 outpowers this 100ZZ too? Wow.

I wonder if all future yonex rackets will have this new head shape thats not really compact frame but not the original isometric that we are use to.

I wonder if Axtrox100 will be an upgrade for existing 88D players

    It wasn't that bad.
VA is not a hard smashing player.
And he is not so strong he is defensive.
I think you saw before, first game he always plays better and then you saw.........
Have you ever got the chart false/wrong? That the rackets had been shown head heavy but became head light??

If this racket is as maneuverable as 88S and more powerful than 88S - thats more than enough !! I like 88S better than 88D.

If one of the Astrox 100 racket is as maneuverable and fast like 88S with more power than 88D. I know that will not happen. Dream racket for me though:D

so far from the reviews, it seems to be a stiffer 88s, slightly more head heavy nanoflare 800 or a slightly less head heavy DZS with more flex? Just imho..

    @esppy

This is a general impression we get when watching the pros using the racket! If we took that as absolute then why would we be reading reviews on this thread?

The general impression I got is that it is less powerful than the Z Strike. But I only saw one match and one player. Let's see more matches and more players to see if the impression is consistent.

If the impression is consistent then we match it with the reviews of youtubers and posters here. Then we make a purchase decision.

This is the process I do before buying a racket as I do not have the luxury of testing one before.

Another important factor for me will be if Momota will use it or not.

4U for front double and women player, for power player 3U is better,
100zz not the head heavy racket. So don't worried to buy 3U.
Surely not heavy like 3U} 88D,99,zf2.
If you hope like that 3 maybe you can go to 3U 100zx.

He is using a damn 4U it ought to be weaker than the 3U AX88D he has. I suggest everyone to wait for the actual release and then we would get some actual figures from the racquetforce.

It amuses me how everyone aren't taking the early reviews with a shovel of salt.

Of all things, yonex-poisoned earthworm is the legit authentic racket review demigod.

I'd prefer to see what someone paying for the item themselves has to say. They can be a YY fanatic for all I care but so far all of the early reviews have been by people who have not invested their own capital into the item itself.

That inherently gives them a bias as is and the fact that nearly all of them have been saying the same things either word for word or in the same spirit and vein? I call bullshit on that. Just look at the diversive profile of reviews on our forum alone. And we're all from different levels and backgrounds just the same as all these reviewers so far (not implying that we are better or worse). No way a product will illicit the same response out of everyone without some area of difference and contrast.

Thats true. Guess its the overall excitement.

More importantly, it seems the 100 is a balanced racket rather than a head heavy. Correct me f I'm wrong. The 88 was brilliant cos head was slightly heavy.

Yeah it does kind of make it exciting but it also makes it annoying that people trust the very first things they are fed just because they want to believe it =/

I don't have it yet so I won't hazard a comment. But the 88D I would say is at least moderately head heavy. The 88S is the one that's a bit head heavy.
