Nope, sorry my dude I've gone around equipment junking myself both in badminton and table tennis, pretty sure i've spent around $3000 for equipments in both sports. But the proper intention should be "oh i want to look for something new" not "this racket will make me play like KM"

I'm basically scorning at people who try to "analyze" pro's performance based on his / her new racket as if it magically make them a better player

I'm not sure how but that YouTuber/Instagrammer (I don't want to call him an influencer :p) was present at the Yonex Vision's legend pre-show at the AE yesterday with Lin Dan, LYD, Peter Gade, etc. I'd take what he says in the video with a solid grain of salt as it seems he is sponsored/endorsed by Yonex in a way.

I'm not sure everyone knows this YouTuber but for those who do know him and his previous videos, well it's rather surprising Yonex associates its brand with his image... o_O

Is there any risk of buying online? I normally buy from Shuttle House.

If you're buying from Shuttle House as you normally do I don't see any problem. They've always been reliable. Otherwise it would be simpler to just ask straight up about which source you're perusing.

From the WHO website regarding if it is safe to receive a package from a Covid-19 affected area:

"Yes. The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low."

that reminds me, why did a preorder say the zz will take longer due to the virus? Is Japan shutting down factories or some of their logistical companies, I thought they didn't have a lot of people infected by the virus? Or are there some parts of the racket that is shipped from elsewhere in Asia?

im no doctor nor virus expert but i think virus need living host to survive. Dead object like racket, paper box, plastic wont be a host for virus. & on tv says this Covid19 only able to live 14day (incubation period).

Maybe others who expert on it can explain better to us & ofcourse please us human language:p.

Put it this way. If you're so worried then just handle your package with proper medical grade gloves and prepare some form of solvent to wipe everything down when it arrives. If your concern is a production ndelay as announced by them then there really nothing you can do about it is there?

i think it not coz the object shipped have risk to contaminate others, but preventive for their worker to limit the virus speading so they put them off work which mean stop in production. Limit a large number of people gathering in one place mean limit the virus spreading.

At this rate even if I order it from Shuttle House via JapanPost EMS, it will take longer than 14 days to reach. So it should be fine I guess.

idk if it also happen in Japan but cosidering they had late delivery & current issue about Covid19, then it possible that they do some preventive to.
At least here in Indo, all school is off for whole 2 weeks.

It's 14 days incubation period... meaning on humans. Not objects.

Covid-19 can survive on some objects and surfaces, especially textured ones but as far as we know at the moment, it won't remain virulent for more than 2 to 3 days maximum depending of the actual texture and material. That is when conditions are favourable to the virus. A package that will whistand transportation, especially by plane, wil be subject to extreme temperatures and conditions that won't favour viruses to survive that long.
