Last thursday the association put out a new guideline and we cancelled everything, no training, no free play. We've had to cancel the club championships that we planned for last saturday as well. The municipality even closed the facilities outright. My ankle needed a break anyway, but luckily my girlfriend also plays and we can play some flat game in the house on occasion (outside is waaaay too windy in the Netherlands).
flat games in the house with the girlfriend, ay? I'm happy for you. Hope clinics are prepared for a lot of Corona quarantine babies 9 months from now.
Funnily, that's a question I asked myself before, what the birth date will be at the end of this year and early next year. And I'll put it here, because I think it makes more sense I guess you're referring to the study what was spread widely over the weekend. It's true they still found virus that was able to reproduce after 48 hours. Unfortunately, they did not specify many factors, like what the drop they placed there really was made of and there was a big drop between the values they got after 8 hours and 24 hours, without any results in between. It's quite possible that the drop took around 8 hours to dry, but we don't know that from that study... and if I remember correctly, after 48 hours, the count dropped to around 1/1000 of what they applied to that surface. The real life value of that is.... questionable, but at best it's (like you said, I just want to point it out) a maximum. The main factor for infections most likely is droplet infections. Don't lose the focus on avoiding that while trying to not touch anything. With everything closed now around here (like others have pointed out above, and it's getting more, not less), I guess I'll put together some real time workout videos like several people have suggested before.
Malaysia has just gone into semi lockdown. No badminton there for a while. Although it’s supposed to be two weeks, plan for four or five at the least.
Malaysia imposed nationwide movement restriction from 18th March till 31st March. Most business will be close including badminton hall.
It's a bit of a mixed bag here down under. The majority of places are still open and players are still playing like there's nothing going on. Quite perplexing!
It has begun...matches are being cancelled and I assume clubs will phase out imminently or not be allowed to operate as venues shut down.
With all chaos coz of Covid19 issue we all had & some country even lock down themself. Do you still playing? Im still playing, tho i wont have an all out match & pushing myself to my limit but just a good match to at least get some sweat while also having fun. Idk if its good or not coz i think just sitting, eating & sleeping at home will just makes our body become lazy & weaken our body which makes us even prone to virus.
No bro, not playing.. lockdown in my part of India until March 31st bare min. No courts are opened!! Feels like I lost both of my arms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seriously? You didn't even look at the very first thread in this lost before creating pretty much the same one?! I'm disappointed, @Budi ... https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...n-your-country-badminton-related-only.184803/
tought its all about bandminton tournament & event so i just make another one for personal activity. My bad sorry.
Well i guess you can still play? Here where i am they closed all courts indefinitely Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
Oh, i see. This period of time is really sad for many of us. I guess we'll just have to be patient and wait until the situation is safer. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
The situation has changed now in Bangkok. All badminton courts are closed until the end of this month by the order of the governor. Afaik this doesn't apply to the provinces. I am seriously considering moving out of Bangkok just to be able to play badminton
