last time I tried these narrow topheads it was disaster for me... the more squarish at the top the better!
Probably because of the longer grip, shorter & slimmer shaft I wonder how the stiffness feel in person tho because of those short shaft
The force/momentum created when the racket swing. Normally you could feel it when smashing with head heavy racket, after hitting you could feel the head still pushing which makes your next shot kinda hard (sluggish). But using person its hard to measure as each have different physical muscle & many different parameter, so using a machine we could gain better & much trusted number to compare with (that if they calibrate the machine well).
Nope, but does the towel grip affect the head weight? Because if I remember correctly, then the n9ii had a 41gm wet head weight, and the VT10DG 43ish. Also the lower swing weight figures from RF could be possible due to the better aerodynamics. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
It won't affect it too much IME. Unless you shove like a thick towel with a fat grip build. Plus I'm running the thin 402DX. It's only a couple of grams more than an original grip usually with my setup style. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
Why wouldn't it be if its serviced? Plus it's not like you're running thousands of rackets or your entire storage unit through them every day. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Ugh, looking at RF data, absolutely mismatched for me... 4U 85.0 too low 3U 88.5 too high Sent from my SM-G988W using Tapatalk
Oh man with ur shoulder injuries and horror stories do u still need a racket weight more than 100 grams?? Add few more lead tapes to make a trainer racket mate!! Come on!! We definitely need ur reviews so stay with the game for few more years man!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It swings nice what can I say. I think I shall take a leaf out of Endo-san's book. Drop many many and smash only when I feel like it For the record though, I've never used and will never use lead tape. Nothing against it but I like to play rackets in their pure forms. If I can't make it any better, the problem is myself and not the racket. P.S. I don't even recall when I last did a legit racket review here tbh... Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Then we can safely say that the racket on itself (rather being swung by a machine) is less powerful than the AX88S? Is it a good conclusion? But human factor can change that as in it might be easier for some and harder for others. However based on the results from racquetforce it is less powerful than the AX88S? Correct me if i'm wrong.
All things equal yes, you could come to that conclusion. But if you're choosing to just see it so simply in black and white then I don't know how else to help you. At the end of the day it boils down to your physical ability, your technique, and how well your physiology and swing match the way the racket behaves. Just take the data for what it is meant to actually be, a point of reference to help you make a choice. Not a firm conclusion that this is more powerful than that or what not. Hmm both my rackets don't have that issue. Looks more like either A. they got a copy where the holes were drilled just a tad too big somehow, or B. the stringer who did it has really poor skills that friction pulled the grommets out, or C. the grommets are just that tad undersized that they're a wee bit looser than they should be.
After just finding out from the thread you started that my Duo ZS 3u is 87g swing weight I'm happy to stick with ZS now seeing these numbers. 88.5 seems like a nice amount for singles and 85 would be really good for front court doubles or anyone looking for a quicker racket but I think as an 'all rounder type I'll stick with my 87g DZS as it hits such a nice sweet spot. Of course some induviduals will love the head weight of the 3u or the speed of the 4u here.
