For you which has more solid feel when smash? i already sold my 90s 3u because of the smash not really feel solid for me..is it 98k have that solid feel due the stiff shaft?or maybe because of different frame type?
In my personal experience, most if not all sharper type of frames feel significantly less solid than stiffer, beefier type of frames (box). I have tried many sharp frames (3D Calibar 900s, Braveswords, Jetspeeds, Auraspeeds, Mizuno 8.5...) and they all have a more hollow, less solid feel than box frames like 88D, DZS, X900X, AX99...So if you prefer feel over speed, it's hard to stray away from boxier frames. Also the solidity of the T-joint would probably contribute more to the solid feel than the shaft. More premium rackets have stronger t-joints and better torsion stability, giving you the impression of a more solid frame.
Both fine for me. I think both rackets perform well. Its my main racket now. For 90K, i bought it only because of promo sales I need to play more games before making conclusion
98K has Pyrofil, but no nanofortify. I am not sure whether it is a downgrade from 90s. Although they are cheaper, but i think because victor shift most of their manufacturing to China; therefore it might relate to cost reduction? There are probability that it has missing one or two tech compared to 90s, however 98k is still a great racket to play with.
Can anyone do some comparison between Tkfc white vs 98k in terms of speed, control, power, and defense? I alrdy do some dry swing tkfc white Feel more solid compare to my tectonic 7D Sent from my RMX1851 using Tapatalk
The new crown collection kit is out and personally I love it. If only I could buy it in europe I would. Hopefully one day Victor realize people can't buy when products aren't available.
No difference. They are equally stiff. I havent get a chance to play more with 90K I do recommend 90S or 98K 90S is a bit heavier on the head. 98K is like even balance racket. I do love them both. 90S and 98K, both equally powerful but 90S has a better feel in my opinion.
I always hear good things about 90s. I'm scared it might be too less head heavy for my liking. definitely it's better to buy both 90K and 90S. If I can be able to get it for $140, definitely I can buy both
90K head is heavier than 90S but for the racket feels during impact? I prefer 90S. I only play 1 hour single game with 90K and not quite happy yet. Thats why I need more time to play.
I’m mostly using N7ii/TC70 today for both singles and doubles. Maybe a 3U 90S would feel similar in weight or is it lighter? (Seems like most people view it as a doubles only racket...)
Sounds promising. Better for you in both singles and doubles? Do you think that stiffness is about equal?
In my opinion, 90S is stiff. I enjoy using it for single or double. I cant recall N7ii stiffness, i just dont really like N7ii or N9ii. For me, these 2 isnt stiff enough.
I really like my 90S 3U too But for me.. 90S shaft is not that stiff..but the head frame is very hard feel impact. This can't make better control and powerfull feel so you can hit with confidently.
90s shaft is just medium, but the head frame feel solid and contain, even 90k more head heavy and stiffer shaft.. but the head not that solid like 90s and so 90k feel is just soft or hollow when you hit.
