So I was going to buy something for myself on my bday. I was either going to choose a shoe or a racket. I know you guys will probably choose shoes as they are more important than rackets. now the thing is, I already have a high end shoe (been using it for 1 year). So what should I choose? A shoe or a racket?

I guess it is all depend on your gear condition. How is your shoes condition at the moment? If the sole has been flatten out then you might want to prioritize on a new pair of shoes. On the other hand, how is your current racket? Is it still in good condition (no cracks or major paint chips)?
I suggest to evaluate and examine your current gears before deciding to get either shoes or racket.

Imo, i would go for shoes if my one year old shoes starts to flatten out. But again it is personal decision. Probably there is a racket that you have been wanting to get, it's your birthday and you want to reward yourself by purchasing it.

    Btw, happy bday dude.
    Cheers

coach is good but he want something as a present for himself on his birthday, so an item would be better i guest:D

Depend on yourself which one you want more. I know someone who like to have collection of racket & i know some others who love shoes instead.
    Some good advice up there.
If you see your shoes starting to tearing apart, well having another backup shoes wont be a bad idea.
Or if you need a 2nd spare racket for competition, why not to.
Or if you can find a good deal on racket or shoes & the look quite interest you, why not takes the deal.

Afterall its your money & above all its your special day, so use it for your greates happiness for yourself.:D
