i think he mean to say what the different between 3U & 4U if it just 2 gr different.:D

But for me, if you are young & aim for higher stage, better to get 3U & train yourself so you could handle it, tho on the actual stage you use 4U instead. I mean, do be whinie & lazy, strain yourself abit & get better & stronger. Dont use 3U/4U as your wall, reasoning you are to weak for 3U. So choose 4U for your playstyle/preference but not coz of weakness.

Unless ofcourse you are old man or just play for hobby, then there is no reason for you to grow into perfect shape. Like maybe for example , Lindan. No reason for him to use demanding ZF2 again when he play for fun with family/friend after his retirement.

it is well known that it does matter, difference between 3u and 4u is around 4/5 grams.
this is 5% of the total weight of the racket. Ofcourse that matters.

Next time u train put on a 5kg weightvest, this is equal to 5% of most peoples bodyweight.
come back after that training and tell me it didnt affect anything.

nah victor understanding about 3u is very strange lately :/ and yea weight does matter since you use less energy with 3u - it is easier to continuously attack :) but during overhead shots anyway racket weight influence is hyper nano for recovery :D may be with drives nano (but driving is not really attack), but still nano is nano :)

With same strings (BG80 at 26lbs) and same over grip (Wilson pro over grip sensation), my 3U’s are 95gr and my 4U’s are 91gr

68 retains repulsion for a longer period, but otherwise they feel pretty much the same

I’m used to BG80, great performance, does not break too easily and to me it offers the best control when I play singles. I can use nearly every string to play doubles or mixed so I may try vbs63 as I tried it and it felt really good, very good repulsion, easy power and control was better than say Li Ning N1

    I use VBS 63 on my JS12s and 90Ks. I love them. I was a long time BG80 and VBS68 user.

I had 90K and JS12M in the same time in my bag. Both 3U. Both strung with BG80 at 26lbs And same overgrip. To me 90k is better on each area: more powerful, better control, better manoeuvrability and easier to play. To me there is absolutely no reason to buy a JS12M if you play with 90k. If you’ve got JS12M and you’re looking for an upgrade, 90k is the way to go

Is the 12M any different than my original Limes? Never played with one. I find my JS12s are very similar to the 90K only a bit stiffer and less smash power. Otherwise they play alike.

I had AS90K, JS12 Yellow and JS12M blue all at the same time previously.

AS90K was the least stiff, followed by JS12 yellow, JS12M blue was the most stiff.
In terms of power the JS12 yellow had the least power, JS12M blue had a little more, AS90K had the most power.
I found the JS12 yellow easiest to use, JS12M blue was a little stiffer and slightly more head heavy. The AS90K I found mst difficult to use.

what makes it most difficult to use among the 3? is it unforgiving? I'm surprise it has the least stiff.

Isn't the ARS 90K 3U too flexible? because I found the yellow JS12 3U not rigid enough, the JS 12M 3U for me is better because more rigid.
I find the JS 12M more powerful than the yellow JS12 so if the ARS 90K is more powerful it's great. Maneuverability and control level It is how the ARS 90K, the control of the JS 12 is good just the handling which can be problematic.
If the ARS 90K and the JS 12M are almost identical as much as I stay on the JS 12M.

I had JS12OC only in 4U but JS12M and 90k in both 3 and 4U so I will compare these three racquets in 4U

JS12OC is the easiest to play, elastic/repulsive feeling, easy power, good manoeuvrability
JS12M felt more rigid, more head heavy, the hardest to play of the three
90k is in between the two JS12 but has the best power potential

I was surprised that it wasn't stiffer when I used it.
The jetspeeds just had a nicer feel to them overall, more feedback and more stable.

I like the power and the control of the JS12M, there is just the defense which is a bit annoying, especially the "reflex" defenses. So if the ARS 90 K is more powerful than the JS 12 M it must be very powerful because I find the JS12M already powerful.
Apparently when I read the comments the ARS 90K is also more manageable.
It remains only to see control level, and felt with the racket because you do not all agree on this point.
And the difference in rigidity is not too great?
