It plays better at higher tensions >26 at 23/24 it would feel like a lot of effort... And that's when you realise it's head heaviness.. Nonetheless it's very fast to Maneuver..but demands good technique... Otherwise one may hate it.. For prospect buyers only buy if you have decent enough technique..to fully Enjoy this beast!
I read that many people say that this racket is not "extra stiff" (maybe not like DZS or ZFII). Does anybody have a good reference point to compare the stiffness?
Agree. I do not think it’s head heavy. In fact, I find it quite similar to the Arc Saber 11 I think. Can’t really put my finger on the strengths/USP on my new 100ZZ 4U.
I had a chance to test my new Astrox 100 ZX tonight, and really love it so far. Very quick on defense but still has the power on smashes. Ok, not so as with ZF2, but it feels like a better all-rounder. If you put it next to it, racket head and shape looks nearly identical, however the usable area of the string feels bigger on the Astrox, I never liked the compact head of ZF2. The racket is a keeper, I only like to know whether the ZZ would worth 45-50% higher price, but I doubt it.
I got this bag and it's really nice with the orange bit. Brought my astrox from ebay seller and the racket was TW coded. Is this a limited edition bag? Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
Had another few games this morning. Correction: it’s not like the ArcSaber11, in terms of ease of use. I’m still trying to get the sweet spot correct. Works very well when it does, otherwise it’s lack of power. It’s prob due to the stiffness of the shaft, affects the speed. Have to get used to it 100ZZ 4U tension 25
Exact sentiments. This needs either some good wrist craft, technique or outright brute force to hit a blast. Defiantly not an underpowered lame turkey by any means. The control is what this is all about.
Dude you meant ZX? Why would anyone feel ZX was not head heavy? True it zooms faster than ZF2 but lack its steel.
That's just medium stiff... I was really hoping this would be at least as stiff as 88D, maybe even like DZS T.T Is it even close to stiffness of ZF2?
No, ZF2. I answered to Barney87 question regarding speed of ZZ 100 vs ZF2 as I own booth. I cannot comment on ZX 100 as I did not try it and now I see that Barney asked for ZX..
Feeling-wise, 88S is actually stiffer than D from my experience. For me it feels like more user-friendly Z-Strike
