    Hi everyone,

I recently had a great chat with Alan Kakinami (AK) who is also a frequent visitor to the forum about his experiences of stringing around the world for the pros for the Yonex stringing team previously.

AK needs no further introduction so thanks again for taking the time for speaking to me!

Nice interview with a famous stringer..
Does Part 2 contain the really important questions?
    - Are there stringer groupies?
    - Do big-money players leave tips? (Taufik, surely)
    - Is there an elite stringer secret handshake? ;)

Here’s a real question: are there many (any) female stringers at the big tournaments?

When I was stringing no groupies, no tips, in Canada and Hong Kong I saw female stringers, Hong Kong a husband and wife team. I forgot the other questions....

I never had a secret handshake, I rarely even did that.

This is BRAVO! There are too few interviews on about stringers and what they thinks about the process, and this video reminds me to thank Alan and Kwun for they have learned me to stringing rackets and set up my stringing philosophy.

Wow, just saw this thread again while Googling my name. Thought I would make it irrelevant again.
