That can happen with every string. Where exactly did it snap?

Of course, but I'm comparing these strings with all the same factors. Stringer, tension, etc.

Not gonna lie, I don't always hit the sweet spot and yes it snapped at the upper area.

did it snap directly at the frame or somewhere in the middle of the stringbed?

Then you were just unlucky. If the breakage occurs at the frame area, there is a good chance that a damaged grommet might be the culprit.

I just bumped to your haribito stringing video, is that your most preferred pattern?

Yeah, that is still my go-to pattern:

The overall flow, the neat look on the outside of the racket... it just fits my liking somehow.

How about from playing side? Is there any advantage over the others? Or tension hold?

I normally use yonex 4 knots but can ask my stringer for this pattern too.

Sorry, is that victor's or gosen's? From what i know they're slightly different but i can't tell.

Nah, if it's the same stringer on the the same machine doing them (without any mistakes!), there will be no noticeable difference in the final result. So if your stringer is doing the standard Yonex pattern and you are happy with the result, do not push him to use a pattern that he is not comfortable with. You only increase the risk that he makes a mistake and you end up with a worse result.

From what I know, the name "Haribito" originated under Gosen's roof. There are several versions around, but bottom line, they are all simple 1-piece pattern with a fancy name. The version in the video is my own slightly tweaked version of the socalled Haribito Professional.

I recently just strung my new racket with black LN1 @26lbs. Can I have a summary of the performance?
Although I have seen some signs of fraying along the coating of the strings (mains), note that it was strung the same day and haven’t been used in any circumstances. Maybe the durability is actually as bad as it gets, the shop only has purple-packaged black LN1 in stock unfortunately.

compare to BG66UM, LN1 definitely more durable (at least for me). Never once i snap LN1 & had to cut it myself everytime i want to restring. So probably stringing error happen that harm the coating.

My bad, I meant the black variant falls short in durability compared to other colors as mentioned pretty far up top in the discussion.

Tension is now 22ish after a couple of weeks. Man, losing 5 lb is a complete joke. This is as bad as VS850 in terms of tension loss.

I've been using the red and blue reels for LN1 but I haven't noticed any big difference in performance and durability. On an unrelated note: just strung my racket and now it's going to feel like **** for at least a week :(. I can see why pros don't use this string.

Where do you know that from?

Here's a list from around May 2019 along with the translation. The source is unknown but there is no indication to believe that the data is not valid:

So in fact quite a number of contract players are/were using LN1. And why wouldn't they?

A week! I thought it "broke in" in the first session (maybe 2 hours?).
Makes me wonder, the P8 I strung months ago but hardly used - based on playtime that wont be broken in yet, so there's MORE power to come?? Crazy. Unless LN1 still settles when not played, given enough time. Will have to wait and see next session.

I'm wondering if there's any pro using 1 boost. I know Eeyi Teo of Malaysia does.

The Boost version remains a mystery to me. It's not even available in Europe afaik. Also, you can't find it on reels - at least at my usual HK online shops. And that's why I'm not even considering to do another trial with it. Another epic Li-Ning marketing fail if you ask me.
