I'm embarrassed that Yonex is buying out our country's heroes! :p

This has been long overdue for a question, but can anyone tell me what FHF's racket was during 2008-2010?

    Actually no.

Yonex has two tiers in its programs:

One is the legends, after whom the whole program is.

But there is a second tier, of so called "ambassadors." These are locally prominent players who will help spread the sport along with the legends.

According to Yonex site, there are 5 legends.

And around,. 10 or so ambassadors.

    2008-2009: Ti-10 (mostly 2nd gen, but 3rd gen occasionally).
    2009: N50
    2010: N50ii
Not exactly sure when he switched from the N50 to the N50ii, but he definitely used the N50 in the '09 and N50ii in the '10 WC finals.

Kind of curious why Peter Gade is put into the legend's category and Tony Gunawan and Kim Dong moon is in the ambassadors category. Shrugs.

I think that’s obvious, they need someone from Europe. (This by no means implies Peter Gade is not a legend)
