Hi everyone. I'm contemplating starting my own brand of shuttlecocks. I was hoping to get some data from the community to help me with this, so if players, especially club organizers in the US could spare a couple of moments to answer my questions, it would greatly help me out and I would be forever appreciative of it. Does your club provide shuttles or do players bring their own? How much do you spend for a tube of shuttles? Are you buying individually or in bulk? Which make/model do you use? Thanks so much!
We use medium high quality ones like HangYu #1 (dark green label) for around $21 cad per tube of 12 shuttles when purchased in bulk ie box of 25 tubes. Sent from my SM-G988W using Tapatalk
Our club is heavily Chinese based so we're able to get tubes of the Lining A+ 60 77 for like $12 a tube (including shipping) when we buy in bulk. They have a sale every year and we buy all our birds then.
Many people have done this before. The margins are not good and I suppose you are very dependent on the factory’s goodwill. Good luck.
Speed of shuttlecock partly subjecting to the size & air flow of the hall or environment. Could commonly find the same shuttlecock behave differently across different halls.
