how does the korean grip their racket? is there any tutorial somewhere? what do they use for the butt?? and I can see most of the korean players nowadays use only overgrips and grip it until the middle of the shaft, do they put the overgrip directly to the wood? without additional replacement grips? I wanna try their gripping style
@paulstewart64 maybe you can help me with this one since you have been stringing for the korean national team? thanks
They use gr50 for the butt because the sponge is lightweight so it doesn't effect balance, then they have like a thin overgrip on wood i think
You really need a thin towel to do this properly - GR-334 or 402DX. I grip mine the way Shin Baek-Cheol used to do; I first held one of his rackets the first time we did the AE and just thought "yes" immediately.
How does he do it? I managed to get some 402DX so I'm curious! And regarding chalk... I have some chalk leftover from my powerlifting days, using that shouldn't cause any trouble right?
You need grip powder which also has pine resin that gives it tack. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
