Is the ax66 the only made in japan racket with such specs? I am rotating between the 100zz and 88s atm. Decided that i want a noodle for when “its not my day” day.
Tried both 100zz and 88s, prefer 88s with thinner string. 100zz i find it tooo stiff.. i find it hard to use, need a very strong arm... I dont own both just happen to have friends who used them... And turn out 100zz is quite stiff... Prefer 88s. Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Short answer: yes. Alternatively, while I play with the AX99, I also enjoyed playing the AX77 once or twice, which is a bit easier on the power. While not being super flexy, so may be easier to control and have a more similar feel at the net than the super flexy one.
Anyone come across li ning turbocharging 20 C. Anyone have any idea how this racket fair compare to li ning turbocharging n9ii or aeronaut 9000i. Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
I wanted a noodle in my bag so that my kids could also use it when they play with me. I am not a highly capable player, so playing with the 100zz and 88s is only for own satisfaction rather than good. But whether or not the 66 is really as hi-flex as the specs said it is, will need some comments from the users pls.
Wow thank you... Think u just give me another reason to buy anothet Li ning... N9ii or tectonic 7... Or aeronaut 9000... Thinking which one do lesser harm in terms of vibrations.. but think about the same... Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Hi LiteBulb, I play 3 times with the AX 66 but didn't buy it. The specs of Yonex are not good (4U, flexible, head heavy). Yes, it's a 4U racket but the AX 66 is mid-stiff/slightly stiff maybe and even balance or a little head heavy. It's a good overall racket, it might be a good racket for you the day you are "off" .
my friend prefer astrox 66. Personal preferences i try to avoid too much yonex, as my brother broke 2 new yonex racket before in just 1 game and as time goes by met few who yonex racket broke while it's new. Met some sportshop owner that say yonex racket tension cannot be too high... since then bought more li ning rackets. Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Ax66 felt med stiff? Looks like its quite consistent with those youtube measurements. I used to play with the vt glanz. The frame is huge and heavy. Didnt like it. Since it will be used as my lazy racket, i think i do not mind non made in japan rackets as it also wouldnt hurt me if i let my kids whack it. I saw on yy site that there are these astrox 01 ability/clear/feel. All rated as hi flex. I cant find any additional info on these.
I bought Axtrox 01 ability ... Very light. Very good racket.. better than many others offers by apacs at the comparison price and easy to use too.. think suitable for beginner and intermediate. Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Yes its 4U, hi flex. I dont know the difference though.. i strung it with tension 25 bg66 ultimax string. Very fun to use. The color is nice. Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Like I said, Voltric Glanz if you don't mind the low max tension. Or AX 66 or Nanoflare 600 and weight tapes.
This is made in China.. still quite durable. For me even though i own arcsaber 5, 10 and astrox 55 made in japan. I cannot tell the difference... Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Try using Astrox FX series (5FX, FX for more flexible series) if you dont mind using MIT racquet. Cheers!
